I recently dined at The Terrace Room Restaurant with my work team. The dinner was an absolute delight from start to finish.The service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional which can be a challenge with a large group. The food was truly outstanding. The bruschetta, especially the apple pairing was so good. We all loved our food and the menu had a lot of delicious options from pasta, poultry, meat, and seafood. We may have ordered every dessert item and they were all fantastic. Whether for a team dinner or a romantic evening out, this establishment is sure to leave a lasting impression. We can't wait to return and explore more of what this culinary gem has to offer.

I want to start off by saying I don’t normally write reviews for restaurants and don’t think I ever did specifically for a server. I came here for dinner on Valentine’s Day and our server was Maris. Easily the best server I’ve had. I don’t eat pork and when I requested to sub the sausage for chicken on the Penne Vodka pasta; she let me know that the meat sauce itself is cooked with pork. I’ve come here a few times now when I’m in state and was never informed of that while ordering the same entree. The restaurant was serving champagne for the holiday and once I informed her that we don’t drink, she came back with a zero proof sparkling drink that was great. She was attentive, kind and deserves the recognition. Thank you!

Came here with my Dad last Sunday for a nice father-son dinner. The interior in here is lovely! It's not too bright, has some cool fireplaces and has a nice view of Lake Michigan if you get window seating. Our waiter was very nice and knew the menu well, and our appetizer and food came out in a reasonable amount of time.We started with the grilled octopus. That was fantastic, 9.2/10! Such excellent flavor and texture, Dad says it's the best octopus he's ever had! For my entree I got the special, which was shortribs with saffron risotto. That was delicious, and the short ribs were almost miraculously tender! I wish the sauce didn't overpower the saffron flavor though. I give it 8.8/10And the dessert. I got tiramisu. The presentation was beautiful, but sadly, it was a disappointment. 6.0/10. The alcohol overpowered all the other flavors, if the texture wasn't nice it might be a 5.0/10 or lower.Then they give you complimentary little sugar cookies thing, which honestly were better than the tiramisu.Verdict: Would definitely return but might skip dessert next time.

Wow, this was a wonderful experience all around. Everything was amazing. Great service, excellent food, and warm contemporary atmosphere. The non alcoholic Nogroni is great for us no drinkers as well. I will return, probably several times.

They have specials all of the time. They have a braised pork shank to die for. As a foodie, this is the best in our area.

My husband and I came for a little overnight getaway for our birthdays. We live an hour away in Indiana and I haven't found an Italian restaurant around here that I like. The Terrance Room is amazing, I would drive the hour to eat here regularly.

UPDATE: Still phenomenal. We'll be back. Again. ?Absolutely stunning place...very sleek and modern decor. There's also a great outdoor patio so you can dine even closer to the water. The pricing is here is extremely reasonable for the quality of food and drink. We started with a side of brussel sprouts for an appetizer along with the bread and dipping oil. I also ordered the Costa Sangria. Delicious and strong...the seasonal berries they put in there must soak in alcohol because they were "drunk". Lol For entrees, we got the Spaghetti and Meatballs and Capellini with Shrimp. YUM! The staff was warm and welcoming...they all wished us a happy anniversary. Even gave us complimentary Ricotta Cookies with a candle at the end of our meal. We couldn't have asked for better. Thank you for a fantastic meal and we will be back!
