The staff were quick and friendly, and the food was some of the best breakfast I've had in a while.I ordered the Steak and Eggs, which I assumed would be a standard steak cooked on the stovetop with a side of eggs. However, to my surprise, it was a Half Pound Ribeye cooked to perfection and topped with garlic butter. This steak was better cooked than some steaks I've had at a steakhouse! The eggs and bacon on the side were cooked perfectly, and we also ordered the Grilled Cheese with fries on the side which was equally delicious.We're already looking forward to our next visit to Public House!“

“Nice local diner with tons of menu options.Came after a day of work with my buddy, hostess seated us and was very friendly even though we walked in about 40 minutes before closing.Had a club chicken grinder and it was very good. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Even though we had to wait outside for 10 minutes it was well worth the wait. “I was a walk-in and ordered two spicy crunchy rolls (shrimp and salmon) and 1 California roll. I was told the wait would be about 13 minutes.. I waited 30 minutes. The order was for my daughter's lunch. She said the rolls were great! They do, however, make it fresh on the spot, which might explain the wait. After bringing it to her, I noticed there were no crunchy rolls. I'm undecided about calling them about it because of how much my daughter liked the order she got.“

“Love this place! Their salads are the best. My wife loves the chicken version and I love the gyro version. Their gyro meat and tatziki are among the best I have had. “The atmosphere was wonderful a little dark, hard to see the menus I got filet mignon, and shrimp in my fillet was done, and I asked for medium the same as the rest of the table and everyone’s was well. Rice was not fully cooked. It was prepared and made first and was cold by the time the other food hit my plate, the cook dropped a piece of steak onto the table and scraped around for it with the spatula found it and put it on the plate which was gross but it wasn’t my plate. My boyfriend had filet mignon and chicken. The chicken was overcooked and the filet mignon was well done my shrimpwere overcooked as well“

“Pete's garage has been a fixture in Monroe for some time. The food is good. The restaurant can get very busy on the weekend depending on what's going on in town. The staff is friendly and will take care of you, but plan on oh wait on the weekend because it's very popular. The atmosphere is different but good for families. The menu has many options, however, I feel it could use some newer dishes. Everyone will find something to eat on their menu. Overall, I highly recommend giving it a shot.“

“Great food! We tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with medium spice (fried chicken breast, coleslaw, and pickles on a brioche bun), the waffle fries, and the bacon macaroni and cheese. The good was fast, hot, and perfectly seasoned. The area for dining was small, but bright and clean. Will be back.“
