Wow we have been missing out! The food was exceptional. We started with the spicy edamame which was outstanding. For our meals we had the Five Pepper Chicken and Kung PowTrio. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. Large portions too we both had plenty for lunch the next day. We had the pleasure of meeting Suzanne the Owner and shared stories of restaurants we love. Every staff member was gracious and gave all patrons lots of attention. We cannot wait to return. I wish my pics turned out better - lighting was low - which is date night approved.

We went here on a weekday evening and ordered the Hunan eggplant and the shrimp drunken noodles where we substituted the shrimp for tofu. The drunken noodles were good but the Hunan eggplant was exceptionally tasty. The staff is helpful and the atmosphere is great!Note: we were told by the staff that they are willing to substitute meat with vegetarian options in most of the dishesVegetarian options: Staff is open to substituting meat with vegetarian options in many dishes

This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest restaurant I have ever been to. The food is beyond comprehension, especially the Mongolian Beef and Singapore Noodles. The cocktails are amazing, service is on point and atmosphere is phenomenal, good for social gatherings or even to bring kids. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Unbelievable.

Great date atmosphere. Good food and service. I had to come back and update this review. I've been here 4 times now, and every time, I'm more impressed than last. Service is great. Just a great experience all around.
We ordered the three wonders, Thai basil trio, and the Hunan fried rice with shrimp and chicken to go. And wonton soup, the soup was a little salty yet bland. Everything else was delicious but on the pricey side. Perhaps it’s solely due to inflation… However, I have noticed a substantial price increase with less food for the money. Entrees previously came with soup and an egg roll now you only get rice.

One of my favorite places in Novi Northville area!
Yesterday it was my very first time to dine at the China Cafe with couple of my friends. Amazing food, great service and very cozy athmosphere except a little black note: the people waiting for a table should not be standing around talking loud and bothering other customers who are trying to eat and converse peacefully. The owner should organize this waiting time list a bit better to make this restaurant a real sophisticated place. The food is excellent!

I rarely leave a review . But I need to. We dined here tonight. I must assume that there are new owners. The hot and sour soup.was inedible to me. The worst I've ever had . Then the dumplings came. I had to spit it out. The fish sauce was so strong and the shrimp filling was so fishy and not fresh it was inedible. This was my favorite restaurant when it opened. But it is completely different. Not the experience I was anticipating. It has been years since I've been here. The ownership.must have changed. I have lived and traveled to numerous Asian cities and this by far was the worst. I'm so sorry to have to leave a review like this
