“Oh my gosh I found a hidden gem for a breakfast place. I just can not believe this place has been here for 18 years and I haven't known about this place. From the moment I walked in the door I felt so comfortable I was greeted the moment I walked in ,everyone is so welcoming here. I ended up ordering the big breakfast and a coffee and everything was done to perfection not a flaw, My waitress was amazing very beautiful and very nice. I am so full and I'm already looking forward for the next time that I come to this amazing place.“
“Love this place was turned on to this place by a friend and now I go my family members going there to. Me and my fiancee are going there tonight and the home cooked food is the best around from Oakland and Wayne county areas!Best is the omelets with gravy on top!They give you good amount of food and like it's family owned also.Plus their hrs are better and open LATE 4 AM“

“Been here last few years a bunch of times. Food and service has always been good. Not the best though.The other day, I asked for a special request and I was told it couldn’t be done.—-Look. I get it. It’s very difficult to chop and toss a salad when the place was not busy....that was supposed to be a joke.---What ever happened to pleasing the customer. It's not like I was trying to get something for free. WTHI will not come back with the family! Sorry You just lost a semi-regular customer. We even supported you guys during the Pandemic. “My wife and I recently stopped in here for dinner around 5 PM. The menu was rather typical for a coney island-style restaurant, which was nice. The food was very good. I had breakfast and my wife had a burger. The service was also very good.One thing that impressed me: The waitstaff and cook washed their hands often while we were there. I like that they take such things seriously.“
“I'm from the Memphis, TN and had to come up here on business. I've never been to Michigan, but from what I've been told my entire life northerners are rude. I had the pleasure of eating at the Grand Diner tonight and JOLENE was my server. I could not have ask for more friendlier waitress than her. Her personality and her ethics of work were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place and her to anybody visiting from the south. Jolene, I hope your owners read this. Thank you so much for being friendly, and the service that you provided. P.S.
