I found this restaurant online because it was within a 10-15 minute drive. I ordered Sweet and Sour Scrimp. I drove home and opened the package to discover that the scrimp was so hard and overcooked. The food was terrible and I will never order any food from this restaurant. I called the restaurant to complain and they offered to give me a credit toward another meal, but unfortunately I won't take another chance with the Royal Wall. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I went here just yesterday and the food was awful. Would have requested refund but figured they wouldn't oblige. I was told to avoid but had to try it myself. My customer service experience was excellent, that I will admit.

A good friend lived in the area well over a decade ago and it has been that long since I've been in the neighborhood. I marveled at the changes, especially new residential construction along Beck Road. Royal Wall is tucked into a large strip mall, on Beck right before Pontiac Trail, going north. Planet Fitness serves as a marker if that helps. The restaurant has perhaps the best safety protocols I've encountered over this year of take-out, other than curbside, that is. Once you enter, you confirm your name, slip your card into the card machine behind a Plexiglass window, and your order is handed over to you in a drawer. I loved the ingenuity of this system. Now, on to the meal: The huge portion of tender Lemon Chicken was lightly-battered and crispy, served with an equally large portion of lemon sauce on the side. The subtle flavor was quite good. I like the Seafood Delight, shrimp, and "krab" meat in a Cantonese-styled sauce. The meal included fresh broccoli, firm baby corn, thinly-sliced carrots, and crunchy water chestnuts. Together, the meal was healthy and colorful. Lastly, I ordered the braised beef with tofu skin. This is my favorite Chinese dish; my dad makes it for me whenever I see my folks. Here, the meal is made with beef brisket, a tough and fatty meat (you've been warned) that is made tender through a long cooking process. It is braised in a flavorful sauce with tofu skin (my dad's version includes Shiitake mushrooms and dried chestnuts), well suited for those interested in different Chinese dishes. There was so much variety that I intend to return for tastes that don't typically appear on menus.

First time there and was very un-inpressed. For starters we ordered the almond chicken dinner. Wanton soup had no meat in the wantons, egg rolls were fried twice and almost burnt. The fried rice was ok and the chicken was fried to dried out tough to chew. I like good food. I have only refused a dinner 1 time in my life. Both my wife's and my dinners would have been sent back if we did not do carry out. Do not recommend this place.

My son who is vegetarian was thrilled to find they had several plant based chicken options and my husband and I love the fact that you get soup with any combination meal. The food is excellent. This is our go-to Chinese restaurant always!

Food fair. General Tao's chicken could have been more spicy; didn't realize needed to ask more spice-thought that would be too spicy. Won-ton soup okay could have had bok choy or anything else besides wontons in it, very doughy.They were convenient I was going next door to Wonder Nails

3.5 stars. For those that are wondering, they do Not offer curbside pickup, however they have a good contact free pick up system. We have used their website to order online, and find it very fast and convenient. The website does NOT offer paying ahead online. For pick up, you walk into the vestibule and wait for someone to assist you. (The dining room is closed and sealed off with plexiglass.) To pay with credit card, they push the credit card machine up to the plexiglass and you slide your credit card into it through a slot. Then they put your food in a double door box for you to retrieve.Nov. 9, 2020. We ordered the mongolian beef and general tso chicken lunch specials, which tasted good. The general tso is breaded and made with white meat chicken. We selected the wonton soup for our sides and we found it much saltier than usual. (I much prefer the hot and sour soup.) The egg rolls (made with cabbage) also seemed smaller than what I remember. The to-go order came with plastic forks and spoons, fortune cookies, soy sauce, and plum sauce. The food was ready in the estimated time frame and was still very hot after my 15 minute drive home. Overall you can't beat the lunch special price for quantity of food. They offer a variety of lunch specials and serve mostly Americanized Chinese food.
