I came here because I was tired of eating rice. I received a special lunch set of tekka bowl and warm soba noodles. It's been a long time since I've had Japanese food and it made me feel at peace. There was also a cute Japanese staff member, which made me feel warm.

I have never felt more disregarded and disrespected in a restaurant in my life. The service originally was fine and my friend and I were sat quickly, The food was decent. However the issue came as we were trying to check out. Our waitress presented us one bill and we planned to split it amongst ourselves. Our collective bill was about $95. On my card, I left a $10 tip to the server. Planning to leave the remainder in cash as we left since we were still finishing our wine. Before we could finish our wine and conversation, the waitress comes over looks at the bill and says " this is not enough, need more" We're confused and asked her to repeat... she continues on that our tip was only 10 percent and she needed a much larger tip and circles the tipping break out. We did leave the additional $20 behind, but I will never patronize again. 0/10

I have been coming to Oishi since 2017. I fell in love with the atmosphere, food, and the phenomenal service. Today, there has been a drastic decline, mostly on the service side of things. I’m not sure if the owners changed, but the cheery older man and his wife I do not see any longer and they have been replaced with a very rude woman. I came in today with my Girlfriend for Valentine’s Day on a reservation. When we came in, I asked if we could have a seat in the back part of the Restaraunt to have a more private experience, the woman I mentioned previously scolded me when I asked and said there was “no tables available back there” when half the room was unoccupied and we had a reservation. This was very uncalled for and definitely left a bad taste in my mouth since we had come here for a nice time for the holiday. The food has also declined since I originally started coming here but not too drastically. It’s definitely hit or miss though if it’s just good or REALLY good, where it had used to always be a very phenomenal experience. Atmosphere has remained the same, the usual jazz playing sets a nice mood.

Have been many times before over the past decade, will probably go again. Only reason the star rating went down is that it seems like the portion sizes went down somewhat since the last time we were there, which kinda ruined some of the excitement my husband got to go out and get one of his favorite meals.

Food was good but the waitress was really rude. She constantly had an attitude showing she was busy. But the restaurant itself did not look that busy and there was another waitress.Anyway, after we ate before we paid, she came back several times for payment. As soon as she collected our payment, she asked us to leave because "customer waiting". We stayed only little over an hour. On the way out, I saw at least four open clean tables and no customers waiting.
