Went have breakfast there were no server on site so had to order a take out. Waited 30 min. Get to my car why was the food cold everything noheat on any of it l refuse to argue with the staff. They really need to shut this place all the way down. You could even give me a breakfast at this point smh.

Waited at the counter to be seated for over 15 minutes while the waitress was on the phone and ignored us. I tried to get her attention but she wouldn't respond. I won't go back until there is different management.

I went to the IHop in Novi as I do every year on my birthday with a coupon which says free STACK of pancakes. In previous years they allowed you to order anything on the menu but take the price of the stack of pancakes off your order which has usually run about $7.00. Before ordering I showed my coupon to the waitress and asked could i order just a regular breakfast with the coupon she stated yes. I ordered sausage eggs and 2 pancakes totaling $9.59. After the meal the waitress brought the bill I said don’t you need the coupon she stated she had forgot and disappeared. She came back and said her manager told her I had to pay full price for my meal because I did not get the stack of pancakes. I again asked dont they take the price of the pancakes off. Waitress disappeared again and came back and said my manager says you have to pay. Mind you I did not bring money or debit cards because expecting to pay couple dollars and tip I only had about 6 or 7 bucks. I asked to speak to the manager she comes out very aggressive and does not say Happy Birthday, good morning, how are you, but “you have to pay for the meal”. I explained that I showed the coupon and asked before ordering and was told i could do this, manager says “she is new only been here a week we changed policies we don't do that anymore. I stated she works here and didn't know so why would I know this even after asking. I advised that the waitress should have asked about the coupon before I ordered and gave me false information. What if I had no money at all. The manager simply smirked at me and said pay for the meal, I advised I have $6.00 which was for the tip you cant discount, comp or apply the coupon. She insisted there was nothing she could do. I will never eat here again. She finally accepted my $6.00 but after humiliating on my birthday, as well as the waitress. She never gave me a receipt so I could do the survey, as I was leaving she said I can sign this coupon and you can use on another day. No Thank You I will never eat at thos restaurant again and will make sure my friends or family do not either.
