I placed a $17 order was told it would be 10 minutes, when I went in to pick up the order they asked what did I have ... I told them what I ordered with receipt in hand... the guy says no you ordered a pizza sub...no I did not here’s my receipt then the Lady Manager chks and they said they must have given it to someone else... we will make it over I asked for an upgrade in pop or fry and she said NO.... I told them it was bad business and asked for my money back she through the change in the Slot .... she got cussed out I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

Great place for lunch. Food is always warm and orders are exactly as placed. The only con is it’s sometimes hard to hear the staff through the ballistic glass which is no fault of their own. A go-to lunch spot in Oak Park.

This place has the worst customer service ever!!! I have never been treated so rudely!! I was really craving Tubby's so I came here two days in a row and both days I left without a sandwich and pissed off from there rude cashier! The first day we went in (my brother and me) around 8:45pm and the hours listed says it close at 10:00pm. I walk up to the counter and the first thing the cashier says in a rude tone I'm sorry but we are closed for the night. So I said oh okay I thought y'all closed at 10:00pm. She says we do. So I say then why can't you just make us a sub she says because we already closed the grill down!! I'm like that's crazy y'all still have an hour and 15 minutes til close why y'all close the grill already?? She looks at me and says We Closed! So we just left! Pissed cuz I wanted my steak and cheese sub! Next day we come back (again my brother and me) we walk in a little earlier today cuz we really wanted steak and cheese subs. So we get there around 7:50pm. And again the same rude cashier before she even greet us the first thing out her mouth was we are only making cold cut subs! I asked why? She says because we are backed up with DoorDash! So I say what does that have to do with anything??! Just because you already have a few orders doesn't mean you can still take other orders for hot food. So she looks at me and says do you want a cold cut or not??!! Rudely and before I seen myself smack the taste out this girl mouth we just walk out!! It was like 3 other people in there and they all walked out to! I just know Tubby's been losing money and customers because of how they are running the place there at night!! That was my last time going to that Tubby's!! N I will never go back there again!! So save your self some time and frustration and just go to the one on 8mile and Evergreen!

Like it's my food who the hell has to still food from a door dasher order! Grow the f*** up! Be more respectful of customers it is because of us that you have a job!

Solid three from me. Was okay. Fourteen bucks is too much for this smallish large Philly. I'm used to getting stuffed for that kind of money. Not even a combo - that's just the sandwich!You've got to double up on the meats to get that sandwich here. Everything else was skimpy too.What peppers or onions or cheese? Not even sure I had any cheese....but the bread was exceptional. No lies there. Fresh bread's always good.

I had a great sub from here. This was the first place I have found in Detroit that has good subs. They have fried onion chips which are good as well. The lady behind the counter was friendly and acted like she wanted to execute good customer service. So if you are in the mood for a tasty sub, with Tubby's famous sauce on it...take a chance...you might like it!
