The last 2 times I’ve been to the Okemos location I’ve found stuff in my food. Fall of 2023 I went and ordered the chicken Cesar salad and found a gnat (bug) in one of the pieces of lettuce. Decided to give it another shot tonight, I ordered the chicken Alfredo it came out with a piece of paper in between the chicken and then a long piece of blonde hair mixed in with the noodles. So gross!! Our sever was very attentive, relatable, and friendly. She was fantastic but unfortunately we won’t be returning after giving the kitchen 2 chances.

My boyfriend and I stopped in to grab a bite. My boyfriend had ordered a five dollar Mucho drink, later on, he orders another five dollar Mucho drink. Our waitress, it seemed like she noticed that it was something in our drink because she came back to our table to turn the cup around and walked away. Luckily, my boyfriend noticed the spider in the ICE CUBE and we were completely shocked,disgusted and at that point ,we lost our appetite. I flagged another employee down, told them what happened. The manager comes over and only refunded the five dollar Mucho drink. now things happen..I understand but the inconvenience of that was disturbing. as being a manager, I would’ve thought that our meal would’ve been compensated for that horrible incident, but it didn’t happen. it’s mind blowing because,who knows who else is drinking another spider in their ice cube or just anything! that’s not safe at all.. I wanted to share my review and whoever reads this, please be on the lookout. Check your drinks check your food.

Staff was super friendly! Always a great time here! Great management and always clean! Awesome atmosphere and food always hot!
Mozzarella sticks seemed microwaved. Cheese hadn’t even melted and when served to us. We received the appetizer before even getting our drinks. Hubby got bourbon street chicken and shrimp and the shrimp was not cooked enough. Service was good and good atmosphere but the cooks need more training.
