So disappointed that Red Haven discontinued daily dining. It was the ONLY creative restaurant in the East Lansing area. Now my daughter is back at MSU for grad school and we struggle to find anywhere decent to eat - you can only eat so much sushi! I know Red Haven has special dinners but please consider opening for dinner service a few nights of the week - perhaps a menu that covers your old approachable (and delicious) lunch menu with a few entrees. Closure of dining service at Red Haven leaves a gapping hole in the (mostly lame) dining options in EL.

The restaurant is no longer open on a daily basis but has special event meals. I'd highly recommend them. The creativity with the menu is almost unheard of locally. Tony is a fabulous chef who can make the most ordinary ingredients into something amazing.

Red Haven changed their business model during the pandemic, but it is as great as ever. They are no open every day, rather for special dinners several times a week. Look at their website for details of upcoming dinners. Last week, we attended a celebration of northern Michigan dinner and it was amazing. The food is so creative. Going back tomorrow for their their street food dinner. A must try for the foodie.
