Bad customer service. Guy argued with me over what milk I should put in my coffee and then didn’t even give it to mr until I took the lid off and noticed. Complete lack of urgency and I’m still sitting here half an hour later waiting for my food and missed doing something I wanted to do this morning because of it. DO NOT come here. Go to one of the many nearby options including an actual Starbucks that’s just a quick walk across the street away.

My wife and I spent six nights at this hotel and had a horrible experience. The shower had what appeared to be pink mold and cracked caulking in the shower. Our room was only cleaned once in our six day stay causing us to have to track down clean towels and toilet paper from any cleaning staff we could find. We called the front desk to complain about our room not being cleaned and they said they had no idea why but the staff went home so we can't help you. I went to the front desk multiple times and it was vacant more than it was staffed. I have stayed more nights in Marriott Hotels than I care to admit over the years and have seen a lot of things. There just seemed to be a lack of caring at this location. No one seemed to care that we were not happy with a dirty room and a lack of service. The next time I am in East Lansing/Okemos, I think I would rather pitch a tent in the park and rough it than stay at this hotel.

Really solid experience all around, with the best gym that I've experienced at a Courtyard. Welcoming staff, clean modern rooms, and that terrific gym with dumbbells, functional trainer, a few machines, open space with mats, and good mix of cardio equipment - all in excellent condition. And there is a nearby running trail as well.

You would not know by the condition of this hotel that it was built only a few years ago. It is falling apart in every direction, a substantial waste of money for business travelers. There is no business center whatsoever. The closest thing they have to it is a single tablet in the lobby connected to a printer, but those were broken. I had to venture out to a printing shop miles away and spend big bucks instead. Similarly, I had to find a laundromat miles away because this property has only ONE washing machine for guests and only ONE guest clothes dryer and the washing machine was broken. Also, one out of the two elevators was broken and internet service rarely worked properly. The air conditioning also was barely functional. It seems there has been zero maintenance or repairs at this hotel since the day it was built. There are several better choices in the area, every one of which is rated higher on Trip Advisor for good reasons. BUYER BEWARE -- DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Stayed Sat 27Aug & Sun 28Aug. I do not recommend this Courtyard in Okemos because of the overwhelming odor of marijuana in the elevators, hallways and all the rooms. The clothes your wearing and hanging in your closet will smell like pot. The odor even lingered into Sunday. Do not stay here unless you don’t mind the the odor or intend to smoke marijuana during your stay. I stayed in room 228 and went up to the 4th floor to see if it was less strong but it was the same. Heed my warning if the odor bothers you.

This was way nicer than I expected. Spotlessly clean and really nice rooms. The decor and beds are more like a Marriott than a Courtyard by Marriott. If you're a neat-freak like me, this is your hotel.

Was very happy with my recent stay here for 3 nights. Room was very comfortable. Quiet room, bed was wonderful. Can’t complain about anything. Would have liked to have had coffee available downstairs in the morning. Would have been a nice touch without having to go elsewhere .

We were traveling through the area and needed a place to stay. The staff was very friendly, the gentleman at the front desk when checking in was nice enough to locate a luggage. The hotel is rather new and still looks great. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and quiet. Definitely would stay here again.
Hotel is New, rooms are very clean, staff are very friendly. Beds are comfortable, pillows are great, Tv is large screen with channels displayed.?Also the hotel has a patio that is comfortable with a nice size gas Fire pit that seats about 12 people.. Will definitely stay here again.

we stayed there 3 nights and the hotel provided NO room maid/cleaning service whatsoever. We complained and the manager told us that it is her decision not to service rooms except when people have left after a stay. Ridiculous. She seemed to think that one can catch Covid from entering a room even when its occupants are not there. This was unacceptable behavior. We would never go back there on our many visits to the city. We should get a refund.

The hotel staff is absolutely disgusting and dishonest. They stole $250 out of my account and accused me of smoking in the room during my one night stay with my 11 month old baby. Management continues to evade me and refuses to refund it.

Brand new, beautiful, and excellent in every way! We had a meeting here, and the staff was wonderfully accommodating. I check into a lot of hotels, and the front desk are stellar. I wish I recalled the gal's name, I think it was Angie. Courtyard is the best for business travel! Their onsite restaurant has enough choices if you don't want to go out for dinner. Excellent hotel - I wish all my corporate travel was like this one!!

This is a brand new hotel and is very nice for a budget friendly hotel. Great for business travelers. Well located right off the freeway but within walking distance to several restaurants and right across from a Starbucks. We had really great service from front desk staff before and during the stay. The room was pretty clean although the bathroom could have been slightly cleaner. The beds were very comfortable. They have a restaurant/bar in the lobby and we ate breakfast there which was actually REALLY good. Slow but great! One issue we had was the fan kept running in the room all night even after we turned it off and it was VERY loud. I would definitely stay here again for the location/overall convenience of the hotel.
