Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon while checking out the Halloween displays at Canterbury Village. Donuts are soft and cider is delicious. Love that you can buy a mini 1 quart size cider jug. This is the perfect size for two people to share. Also tried the cherry and raspberry hand pies. They were good but crust to filling ratio could’ve leaned more on the filling side. Yates is hands down the best doughnuts and cider around, and it’s really nice to have a place closer and less busy but still get all the best! Both times I’ve been they had warm doughnuts and everything perfect. Love them!

YATES has the BEST Hard-Ice-Cream in Lake Orion, my family is lucky to be able to bike-ride here to burn those calories. We LOVE the coffee & donuts, cider, many unique food items honey, pretzels, jams. HINT: Ask for a Harry Potter BUTTERBEER shake... no, its not as good as the ones at Universal but wowzer,,, its good enough to fill your craving until your next trip to FL
