Stopped here yesterday morning to have breakfast here on our last day upnorth. Coffee was fresh, and food was as expected of a family style restaurant. Everything about this place I loved.It looks like any other mom and Pop diner out front, which is my style of place to stop at.We were greeted and seated immediately.Very friendly wait staff,and INCREDIBLE prices.The half roasted chicken with choice of potato,stuffing and salad was only $11.99!I was surprised it wasn't $18.The portions were VERY generous and the taste? Fantastic!Highly recommend you try the next time you're in Oscoda, MI

The service was good, but the hashbrowns tasted like cooking oil & not butter. The bacon had a funky taste.I've been here a few times before & it was real good.I'm guessing it was just a bad day for the food.I'll try it again another time & see if it gets back to how it used to be.
