It is extremely rare to visit a restaurant months apart and have the same good service and good food. Tanglewood is that restaurant. A hidden gem out in the open. Well worth the cost
Food was just ok. Cheese curds were like little rocks. Garlic potatoes were luke warm and dry. Steak did have good flavor even though the cook was more medium than medium rare. Not a $35. meal. Considering we were the only ones in the dining room, service was slow.

We went there for dinner on a Saturday night and were the only ones there. They were out of the sirloin I ordered, so I got the ribeye instead. There was a $10 difference in price and I was disappointed because it was mostly fat, after I specifically asked if the steak would be fatty. Tasted ok for the meat that I got. Drinks were really good though, I definitely recommend the Tanglewood Punch, tastes like smarties.
