“Don’t sleep on this place! Justin was great. I always have a handful of questions when I’m in a new place and he was happy to answer them. He said most of the food is made from scratch. He recommended the Cuban and I approve! The food was also great. We sat at the bar, as we didn’t want to tie up the larger tables. While sitting there, we observed how clean it was behind the bar. I highly recommend!”

They had a Shepard’s Pie special and it was excellent.Our waitress was very friendly, helpful and stayed on top of everything during our dinner.Do yourself a favor, make a reservation and make the trip to Sly’s Seafood.”

“The BLT is truly a triple stacker and absolutely delicious. My French fries were fresh and crispy. It's an older style diner, very clean with a low key atmosphere. I never felt rushed, the waitress was attentive but not overwhelming. Really great little spot, I'll definitely be back.”

“For alittle hole in the wall it's amazing. The people are great and so are the prices. Been coming here for over a year and the food prices haven't raised which has been great because it is affordable to eat out and leave a decent tip for the waitress. Over all worth it to come in on the weekend and get the apple waffle or strawberry waffle amazing.”

“I heard that they have tacos so we went in. There is like a grocery store in the front part that has great items. The tacos are in the back, you order in the front and take the ticket back. Interesting but it works and the food is great. I had a burrito”

“Best place I have found to order lunch for the crew. Portion sizes and condiments are generous. Everything is very good. They do get very busy so expect what comes with that every now and again.”

“Loved the breakfast I had, but was not expecting my side order of sweet potato fries to make me completely forget about the other food I ordered! I would highly recommend upgrading from normal fries to sweet potato fries with a burger, or even just ordering sweet potato fries by themselves!”

“I was soooo blessed to be able to return to this loong-time family fav. I returned to MI from FL for a marriage ! My family has been enjoying LaCantina since the early 1960s ... when to m 8-yr old eyes the stern Emo (?) guarded the cash register; yet the food was soo exotic I was enamored by the exotic spices, especially something called Fennel - NOT what my mom a Betty Crocker fan would use... I recalled then, and now, always caring warm alert service....Recently dinned there ! QUALITY just the same as I remember.. and the 'romantic' view of the 'falls' and the outside mostly vine covered outdoor dinning..... I bought 6 bottles of its almost-famous wine vinegar !! (Hope it figures out a way to sell this wholesale !!) ' Gawd ' how I hope (pray?) the 4th generation keeps GOOD traditions, and CARINGNESS alive!!”

“I stopped by while visiting my son in college. I choose the 6 tastings , which was very reasonable !!! Cozy setting, friendly , knowledgeable staff, and unique local wines. I even tried a lemonade Vodka , which was gluten free and delicious.”
