The Choripollo bowl was very good and full of chicken and Mexican sausage. The only thing I was not a fan of was the food being served in a paper bowl. I don't even do that at home. Friendly server and such a quaint place. I would return if ever here again.

Stopped in after a day on the slopes. Got an appetizer, fish tacos, chicken and steak tacos. All the food was delicious, definitely stopping in when in the area.
Clean & spacious with excellent food & service. Persinably staff, authentic Mexican cuisine. Extremely close to Harbor Springs ski areas. Very reasonable prices. I'll be going back next time we're in town.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor entrance with wheelchair accessible parking & entry.

First time there. I had the fish tacos. Pretty damn good but I've had somewhat better. The usual chips and salsa you get at every Mexican Style restaurant was a point of dissatisfaction. The salsa was soupy and very tomato-ie. I like it a considerably more chunky and a little more seasoned. But hey .. that's my opinion. I do recommend going there and making your own decisions. You may find my opinion sucks. That's OK. Id given 5 stars all around.. but maybe I'm just a little opinionated about my southwest cuisine. Extremely likeable staff (of one as far as I could tell). My order could have been taken up a notch as well as the initial salsa. Like I said... I do recommend you try it for yourself.

If I could rate this anymore then 5 stars I absolutely would. Antonio is the manager and was my waiter and everytime I come in to deliver food he is always so friendly and chill and goes above and beyond his job to give a great experience. And the food is by far the best I've ever had. The fish burrito is simply amazing.. this place is excellent and I am going to be a longtime regular at this restaurant. I highly recommend coming to El Cilantro
Bland food. the salsa has no chiles. its straight water they underseasoned everything it's nonauthentic overadjusted for white peoples tastes to the extreme they're even minimal on salt and the Carne asada is just bland ground beef. Would not recommend the reviews are most likely from owners friends or people who never had actual Mexican food before. I will give credit where credit is due and say that the servers are nice and the atmosphere was also nice but they doesn't change the food until they change their recipes I wouldn't go.
