Our waitress was so sweet, I wish I got her name. She was phenomenal. The food was good, the restaurant was cozy, and the waitress made sure we had refills for our drinks. I noticed that she was taking phone orders as well, and making sure the orders had everything they needed. That woman was wonderful!!Dietary restrictions: I'm lactose intolerant; and they were nice enough to take off the cheese and no sour cream for my omlette
We have been going regularly to Mimi's over the years. Most recently the three of us in our party had one fish and chips and two omelets with one coke. Service wasn't terrible, but not good either (like it used to be). The total was $48 before tip. The food is good but the credit card fees, service charges, etc. feel sneaky. There are better options at this price point so it will be a while before I go back.

Really exceptional diner food. The service is also excellent and the wait staff are incredibly courteous and on-the-ball. I eat a lot of diner-style restraints, especially for lunch and dinner, and this one excels because the food and service are both several notches above what I expect from a casual eatery, and the prices are all very reasonable as well (it's possible to eat for under ten dollars a plate, which is a rarity in this day and age.)
