My best friend and I met here for dinner the other evening and had a wonderful time. All the food we ordered and shared was delicious. I had the lamb, and it was cooked exactly as asked and the squash seasoned to perfection. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes.

Food and Service are top notch. One of the best wedge salads I’ve had. Got even better from there with the Red Grouper. Awesome meal. Finished with the raspberry cheesecake and it was fantastic as well.

Don't try and call them, they never answer the phone, goes straight to a mailbox and your call is never returned. It's irritating and it has prevented from eating there more often.

Wednesday evening, we were able to enjoy an evening out. We decided to sit as the bar. This spot was a little more private for us as we felt we would have been eating with our neighbors at a table. The bar was empty. We chose a apot near the end. We were greeted w water about 10 mins later we were asked for a drink order. We received those and ordered the Brussel Sprouts. (YUM!!) They were 1 of our highlights to our dinner. We ordered dinner and asked for everything to be sent out together. (We ordered 2 Wedge Salads (one of the best I have ever eaten) a Steak (it was horrible, sent back for proper temperature), and Scallops. (rubber hoses and not the portion I ordered) The food was beautifully prepared, but we could have skipped the steak and the scallops. The atmosphere is quaint and modern. We love the feel of this location. The owners have done an amazing job revamping one of the oldest buildings in Plainwell. (KUDOS!!!)We walked out with a $161.xx tab (before tip) for 2 people. 2 drinks from the bar, 1 app, 2 salads, and 2 sides, which I was actually charged for a dinner. The restaurant was understaffed with servers. They do not allow their servers to write anything onto note pads (I UNDERSTAND, it looks gross) this lead to some chaos. 1 particular server was constantly in the kitchen area, asking for items on the fly as well as dropping items. Overall: walk in only, so expect a wait at 545pm on. Small, but modern feel. Ordering is Ala Carte, specify what you want. Check your tab. We left it. The severs were too overwhelmed & by the middle of our meal (630pm), our requests were taking a very long time. I gave this restaurant a 4☆. We will try it again, but we are not sure when.

I had the bouillabaisse. It was pretty one note. Definitely packed souce and no aioli which is customary. The seafood was cooked well, however. I ordered a salad and it was served with the bouillabaisse. Limited dessert selections. The "coffee cake" was very, very sweet. Prices high for the menu options.

Great service! The atmosphere is nice, and this restaurant wants to be upscale, and I guess for Plainwell, it nearly hits the mark. The calamari was excellent, but it's the only item that was noteworthy. The crab cakes were made with poor-quality canned crab and nearly burned. The scallops were so-so, while lacking moisture and tenderness. The lobster corn chowder was very tasty, but I only had one tiny piece of lobster in the entire dish.Ordered the Bolognese, but received the carbonara, which wasn't really carbonara.Don't sit near the door, there is nothing to block the frigid air from hitting you.Not awful, but not great. I can't really see a reason to return.

Their food is amazing. My only recommendation is that if you're going to get Brussel sprouts or Mac n cheese, get your own order of them. You won't be able to stop eating it! The portions are definitely share worthy, but it's too good to share!

We came here at 5 pm on a Saturday and it was already pretty busy. We were able to snag one of the last tables for 6. The wine selection was great and the menu was also great. They had some really good options. I had the scallops and they were perfectly good and the rice and lobster with it was terrific. Everyone else really loved their meal. The appetizer calamari was pretty breaded with no seafood taste. So if you like calamari, maybe not awesome but it did have good flavor. The restaurant is pretty small but they do have table and bar seats. The staff is always great. I would for sure come back.

Excellent menu, expect Upscale Casual, quality and interesting cocktails. I particularly like the outside tables in the summer because I have a little problem with the sound track and background sound level inside, but that's me.
