The food is incredible but unfornately the customer service is not. I'm not sure if a server had a bad day or something but, a fellow waitress went out of her way to message me on one of my social media accounts (baffled on how she even found my account) and complain about me not giving a tip when I clearly wrote on the receipt a tip. Super unprofessional to go out of your way to message someone to complain about your career choices. Out of respect of her I'm not going to release her name but here is the conversation.

Just had the best pizza in my life except maybe a trip to Sicily.The restaurant was mostly empty, since I got there at 2pm, and it took longer than anticipated to get my pie, but it was really worth the wait! I understand now why it took so long, since it was pretty thick, and no doubt took time to cook perfectly. I ordered the 4 square Meat Deluxe with original crust. The pie was the perfect temperature, the crust was crunchy, chewy, and full of flavor. Each bite was the perfect density and proportion of meat, cheese, sauce, and crust.I've eaten at Buddy's several times in the past, but this pie was exceptional. I will be back!

Stopped in for some Detroit pizza while here on a trip. Great staff, antipasta salad and pizza. Buddy bread was soft and delicious!Staff was able to answer my allergy questions as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair parking. Double doors at entry and wide walkways

Have been a Buddy’s fan all my life, but was really impressed with how above and beyond Walter was with his service on Saturday night. Having been a server before, I noticed he was absolutely slammed in his section, but his demeanor and service never let on to it - truly a duck, being calm on the surface even though he was paddling like crazy underneath. He maintained an upbeat attitude with every table he interacted with, took time to make recommendations, ensured timely delivery of food and drinks, and still took time to compliment his coworkers when he saw them hustling. What a fantastic team player. With two little ones in tow who were past their usual dinner time, he made sure to get food working for them and out to us insanely quick. A very happy and pleasant dinner for our family! Keep up the great work, Walter - we’ll be back to see you soon!

Traveled to MI for the weekend. The service and facility were really good. However, I’ve heard about Detroit style pizza, but was very disappointed. Very scant toppings considering we ordered two toppings and saw barely any on the pizza. Maybe other places live up to the idea of this style pizza, but what I saw wasn’t impressive, the crust was good though. I don’t think I’ll be craving anything like this any time soon. Salad was good.
