I’ve been here about 5-10 times and I’ve always been impressed. The bark on all meats has a fantastic flavor and the portions are big enough for leftovers. Ribs are my favorite but brisket is great too

10/10 reccomend trying next time you are in plymouth! Great tasting, quality barbecue food. Friendly service and cozy patio.Smoked meats are tender and have awesome flavor. No skimping on portions.Dirty rice is like a jambalaya but to curb the barbecue appetite. Tip: get the sour cream on top.Cole slaw is crisp and refreshingly NOT doused in mayo!House barbecue sauce is sweet but leaves little to desire... used it on everything

Literally the best brisket around. The bark, smoke, tenderness and flavor.. it was top notch ? This place has beat out our long time favorites for the area and we will definitely be back. The sides - cheesy potatoes and cream corn casserole were excellent. Portions were well worth every dollar paid. Excited to go back and try some more!

This is some of the best BBQ I’ve had but most importantly this is some of the best food I’ve had in generalI orders the huge beef rib special with mac and cheeseSalmon chowderAnd the kielbasa just by itselfEverything is amazingI could probably type three paragraphs about this placeTheir sauces were excellent tooMost importantly the service was great very hospitable and friendly. Originally from KC we were craving smokehouse BBQ. Max & Bella's did not disappoint. The brisket was perfect. The big beef rib was fall off the bones. The Mac & Cheese and the Cheesy Potatoes are the bomb! We will be back very soon!

This is literally the best pulled pork I have had in my entire life and I lived in the south for years.Juicy and full of flavor. The smoke rings are visible. You don't even need BBQ sauce because it tastes so amazing on its own. We're excited to come back more often!You can order pulled pork by the pound instead of as a meal.

Only been here once, and that’s fine with me! No need to go back. Way overpriced, food horrible, dried out brisket, coleslaw had no dressing, pork, dry and overcooked. The only dish on my plate that was somewhat edible was the corn dressing casserole. But used canned corn, with dry inedible corn kernels. We need a great restaurant there with great food, not overpriced, dried up food.

Exceptional Ribs, a Regular IndulgenceI find myself enjoying ribs every other week, and I must say, the ones offered here were truly exceptional. However, when it came to the mac and cheese, while it wasn't subpar by any means, there was room for improvement in terms of flavor and texture.In terms of my overall dining experience, I would generously rate the ribs at 8.5 out of 10, a testament to their deliciousness. On the other hand, the mac and cheese would receive a more modest 4 out of 10, reflecting its room for enhancement.I look forward to revisiting to see if the mac and cheese has been elevated to the same level of excellence as the ribs.
