The whole experience for me and family was wonderful. The owner is very nice and the staff are very nice. Hopefully you get a chance to see Stella the dog because she is super cute! The only knock I would give them is their bathroom. They need to put some type of towel or something so you can open the door otherwise I have to use my shirt because what good is it if I wash my hands and touching the knob. The Ranch is chow

I wont be surprised if they find a way to immediately delete this review too (They deleted the comment and the Facebook review I left in record time) My husband brought me here Saturday night after reading reviews that raved about the food. I don't get to go out often, especially without kids. I work long hours with a high- stress career. I was really counting on a nice dinner some place new. Upon arrival, it was pretty obvious that the place was filled with "regulars". They were giving patrons a choice to sit either in the inside of the bar, or what looked like a enclosed porch turned added dining space. We chose inside because the enclosed porch area was freezing, despite the fake fireplace. We were seated at a high booth across from the bar on what looked like the worlds tiniest piece of countertop (almost like an afterthought). The floor was dirty and the booth was extremely uncomfortable. Our waitress Amy (I think that was the name she gave) immediately asked for drink orders and then asked if we were ready to order food as well. which sounds great in theory, (only we hadn't even had a chance to look at a menu). The menu had a little bit of everything, but still seemed bland. We ordered because we felt rushed to do so. Within just a few moments, I hear a man yelling. I look, and it's the man working the bar yelling at a waitress. He was yelling loud enough for the entire bar to hear and for me (across from the bar) to hear. Apparently, she "had an attitude since she showed up for work" and he wanted her to "lose it". He proceeded to yell at her and cut her off. this conversation for starters, could've happened privately. But it also could've been handled more professionally in a multitude of ways. Either way, the waitress went back to doing her job. He could be seen angrily texting on his phone and looking in her direction, completely neglecting the bar and the patrons sitting at it. While I waited for my food I watched as he hunted down the rest of the staff, gossiping to each one like a school girl. Eventually he yelled, "Where is she?! Is she back there?!" before running to the kitchen where even louder yelling could be heard. said waitress left. Rightfully so. And this man CONTINUED to run his mouth to any staff and now PATRON that would listen. Meanwhile, our waitress wouldn't acknowledge our attempts to call her over to cancel our food. My appetite was gone. If I wanted to see a woman get abused at any capacity, I would've went to work... or stayed in my past relationship even... Our food was brought out by someone other than our waitress. It was tossed on the table in front of us without a single acknowledgment from the staff member. I walked out. My husband came out not long after as he had to pay... for probably the worst service and most disgusting display or restaurant/ bar management I've ever witnessed. If you're looking for a nice night out, look elsewhere. This isn't the place.

Came here with my wife and the food was great! There downfall is the service. My server was very unprofessional and rude. I overheard her talking about other customers in a rude demeanor to fellow servers. I believe her name was Nichole.

Visited Stella's today with family. One family member lives in Plymouth. The other 2 are visiting from GA. We arrived at noon. Food was amazing. We each had 3 or 4 drinks. Went to order another, at 3pm, and was told the owner cut us off. Wow!! I get it if we were belligerent, didn't eat, we're doing shots but that wasn't the case. We were drinking light beer and/or bloody Marys. The place was empty. No wait for a table. The waitress blamed the Owner. When we approached the Owner, he blamed the waitress. So disappointing. We talked about revisiting in the future but now not ever. All the Owner had to do was explain the reason and own it and he threw his staff under the bus.

Went to a comedy show there it was fun and the food was good. The only downside was they had one waitress for the entire front room.

I came here on 2/10/24 with a group of friends for dinner and a comedy show. We arrived at 6pm to eat before the show began at 7:30pm. Many of us did not receive our food until right before or after the show had already began...My mom ordered a personal "pizza" which she said tased like a tortilla shell with sauce and cheese (and looked disgusting). Then, later that night, we realize the cup that I was served my drink in, was BEYOND dirty!! I wanted to throw up when I saw what I had been drinking from all night... Both of my pop and my mom's tasted watered down. Another lady's $15 shrimp and fries basket had 6 small shrimp and maybe a handful of fries ? It was disappointing to say the least. Oh, and they only had, might as well say 1.5 waitresses, serving our group of like 30.? The one stood at the front of the room most of the night looking scared and unsure of what to do. Most of the comics we saw that night were great, but we would never make the 45-minute drive back out for this place.. very disappointing first experience. (Btw.. large parties get charged 22% for gratituity)Parking: Small parking lot, we ended up parking like a block down the street.

My boyfriend and I visited Stella's Tavern for the Valentine's Day Dinner & Wine Tasting event. Dorothy (one of the owners) put so much thought and care into making the evening special for us. The food was delicious and she was extremely knowledgeable about the drinks/pairings. She gave us more than enough wine, flowers to take home and a gift card to visit again. It was a very sweet evening and we had an amazing time. Definitely will be visiting again. ?

Bob, Dorothy and Allison run an amazing hidden gem. The food is amazing. The staff is inviting and friendly. They keep adding great events like Sporcle Trivia, comedy shows, live bands. Dogs are welcome on the back patio!! Again, it's THE gem in downtown Plymouth.
