First I hardly ever write a review good or bad. But today after many years of going from taco shop to taco shop asking for special requests for a simple true San Diego favorite the California Burrito. Don Jose's staff has done the job. My wife and i love this place. The food is always fast and hot. I love the 3 Tamali's, and my wife really enjoys the Buritto Don Jose. The salsa is good, but spend a little extra to get the cheese dip with the chips and salsa. It will definitely complient your meal.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a few months and I finally did tonight. It was fantastic! Our waitress was extremely polite and efficient!! Food came out fast, hot, and DELICIOUS!! Great prices for the portions! This place has earned a special place in my heart as my favorite Mexican joint!!
