We're new to the area and decided to try here for dinner. Rowan was our waitress and she was amazing! So friendly and on top of everything, service was great and fast! We had chicken eggrolls and both had the hangover burger. Both were very good! Can't wait to come back and try different things.

Commercial House aka the ol Chaps Tavern. Nice place to stop and grab lunch or dinner and enjoy a drink or two. Menu is great and the drinks are even better. Small town with all the charm and feel one would come to enjoy and great for a break and relaxation. Big Blue out.Parking: Parking is ample and located in front of building and also located in the rear with a parking lot. On all but the busiest of days you will find it more than accommodating. Otherwise side street parking is allowed with consideration to the surrounding neighborhood. Mind your manners and be respectful.

Overall I did not have the highest expectations. I was surprised by the level of care given in their service and the quality of the food. One of the best fish and chips I have had in entire metro detroit area; everything else I tried was also very good. Will be sure to come back to try more of the menu.

Last minute dinner found they had Thursday $4 margaritas and Mexican food called in a to go order but ended getting there early enough to eat there and have a margarita. Barmaids were friendly and food was great.

Beef stew was delicious. Thick and slightly spicy. Couldn't eat it all, and will have a nice lunch tomorrow.

Food was so good didn't get a picture. Izzy was our server and she did a great job, I had the cob salad and it was great. My wife had the perch sandwich and fries and quite enjoyed them. Thanks for a great lunch experience!

Carry out tonight. 2 of the Cajun chicken Philly sandwiches and they were the smallest, sandwiches ever. Hardly any chicken, cheese or vegetables. Expensive sandwiches and not worth it at all.

After doing a polar plunge on brisk day, I was starving. We chose Commerical House because we know they have good food and service. There were four of us and the restaurant was empty as it was the middle of the afternoon on Sunday. I ordered chicken tortilla soup, small order of chicken wings with them tossed in garlic parm, basket of onion rings and a coke. My wife ordered the cobb salad. There was another couple with us and they ordered a bowl of chicken tortilla soup and the Michigan cherry salad (separate checks). My wife enjoyed her even though it was loaded with bacon she loved her salad. For me, onion rings and chicken tortilla soup were good but the wings not so much. The wings were small, like tiny; the garlic parm didn't taste like garlic parm, very salty and way to much sauce on the wings. Cost of our portion was $44.

Service was okay . Food was REALLLY bad , I'm not usually the type to complain about food , hell I think this is my first review ever lol! But I had ordered the French dip and the meat tasted like it was frozen and thawed a week ago):
