I just happened to find this place in my neighborhood the other day, and it did not disappoint. Good food, drinks, and friendly staff. I will definitely be back.

Walked in and the sign said wait to be seated. Looked to our left and hostess was leaning against wall on her phone. The 4 of us stood 5 feet away from her, and I said "Hello"? She ignored me, finished on her cell, grabbed 4 menus, said nothing, and sat us.We ordered drinks, apps, dinners, and shots. The waitress was great and the food (burgers, chicken tacos, sliders, pretzel rods, steak bites, chicken app) was all good.I was taken back how rude the hostess was, so I told the waitress at the end of the night. I worked in bars and restaurants for years and just said wow.. She told me the girls name, but I'll leave that out.You can't have people like that in customer service. Our first time there and it was not a good first impression walking in..Hopefully management will address that situation.Otherwise, I'd go back again.

We came here to enjoy great service and food however their CO2 for the fountain drinks was out and our food came out and we couldn't enjoy a coke with our food due to the flatness. Ribs was cold and hard not tender at all. Chicken salad ordered with ranch had a lemon vinaigrette in the salad. Chicken tenders were very crunch and dry. The manager came to our table and didn't ask how our visit went. I let her know we were not satisfied with our visit and she didn't offer anything off the bill. All she was I'm sorry. I wouldn't come here again after this visit

I've been visiting this friendly PUB before they expanded and I've never been disappointed in the food or the service or the clientele at this neighbor hood PUB. I am a creature of habit and tend to usually order the same thing, love the chili, However I have never been disappointed in anything I have tried at Johnny Blacks. I look forward to visiting every Thursday and there is always a friendly processional staff that is willing to give me the time of day and a small chat, over and beyond you get at most PUB's. There has been changes but yet the core feeling is still there which makes it a pleasure to visit every Thursday afternoon and enjoy an Irish water and a friendly face behind the bar and a small chat. No matter some of the negative comments I, and my friends, enjoy this place immensely and I highly suggest to visit.☘Parking: street parking in front and plenty of parking in the rear of the building FREE
