The best sushi experience I've ever had. From top to bottom, these rolls are so succulent, they went down easier than a rare steak. Two bites. The staff was fantastic, the establishment was very low key, they played perfect minimal jazz. They had ideal soft minimum lighting, and top to bottom, even the cheesecake, which I'll never share again, was outstanding. Typically, it's been my experience, the past 20 years, 1 or rolls out of five are decent, however, this place, every single role, 5 out of five different types of roles were just phenomenal, one after another, I've never had that experience, not like that, back to back to.We had something with sour cream, something with white sauce, drizzled on the top, and again this cheesecake, it's worth going back just for cheesecake, was impeccable.Outstanding experience, monumental, succulent, flawless sushi, from top to bottom, can't RAVE about this place enough.A+++

I thought the place was just ok. The prices seem a bit high. My daughter has shrimp tempura it came with 4 shrimp some veggies and white rice. It was $18.99. The food didn't have much flavor. The tempura veggies were bland and the sweet potato was hard. Service was friendly but not very fast. I wouldn't go here

We visited for a birthday dinner and although there were only 3 sets of diners, we waited at reception for 5 minutes and then I had to walk to find an employee to seat us. It was freezing inside to the point that J-Lo had to get her coat from our car. The atmospere and decor is nice enough but the seats are inexpensive and uncomfortable, like school lunch-room seating. They do have a bar and nice cocktail selection. My biggest criticism is that for a sushi bar, their rolls were very Americanized with too many variations of California-like rolls using C/Krab, cream cheese, etc. Poor sushi creativity and fish selection. I would expect this at a Chinese buffet but not an upper-priced sushi restaurant. Lastly, the eel was either over-cooked or not fresh. They do have an extensive Korean menu but we did not try it. At $80 for two people, it was disappointing.

They are not family friendly… there between two and four not rush-hour lunch or dinner. Very rude to my grandkids.

In Japan there's a saying that a sushi bar is recognized from it's sushi rice. You can indeed tell that if the sushi rice is good is already 50% of the rewards. SOHO got for me 90% already with it's sushi rice: simply fantastic. The sashimi was a blissful surprise. I frankly I wasn't expecting much, but oh boy oh boy how good it was. I have to admit that I asked for a bis. I got a second dish of sashimi and it was melting in your mouth. I could go on and on. But I can't conclude this quick review without mentioning the excellence of the service. It is something difficult to find especially in a street mall. I need to come back soon to test the Korean dishes that I expect to be at par with the sushi You gotta go to believe by yourself, but you'll remember this review and I hope you will be in heaven at the end of your meal. Thank you SOHO for this rediscover of a place that I had almost forgotten.

Consistently good sushi. One of the better sushi places in metro Detroit on par with more known ones and in some cases even better. Good value for the price.

I will ALWAYS come back here rain or shine! The sushi is the best I have ever tasted! The service is always so attentive, friendly and willing to give their personal recommendations when asked (and yes they know their food)! The ambiance is very peaceful and it's perfect to get away from the busy life for a little bit! Everyone I have brought here loves it too! Highly recommend!!
