“Slim Chickens is the latest addition to the Oakland University food court. It is a chicken sandwich/tenders/salad shop. The food is very good, perfectly spiced and is freshly cooked. Unlike some of the restaurants in the food court, the staff at Slim Chickens are very efficient. They process process orders quickly and I've rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes, even during the busy lunch hour. I highly recommend Slim Chickens and will be back in the future.“

“I am not exaggerating what so ever here when I say I have been here every day for the past 2 or so months. Their Rose Tteokbokki never seems to miss. My first time ever trying rose was here and I have been obsessed with it ever since. The staff are so nice and never fail to make me smile when I come in to order. “After being introduced to Noori at the Clawson location, I was happy to find they had opened another location in Shelby! Not sure how it snuck by me for so long. The chicken is amazing! This is the only place you'll ever want to go for wings. Don't let the number of wings fool you, they're roughly twice the size of wings anywhere else and their quality is amazing. I prefer the supreme and the soy chili sauce, they're sweet, savory, and spicy. I tolerate a high level of heat and these have just a enough heat to feel for me, your mileage may vary. “Really enjoy the soy garlic flats from here. Definitely very good of you like fried anything. The spicy wings are on the spicier side so be prepared if you order that. The quality of the chicken is very good which it puts it above other fast food wing places. I usually get takeout as there's not many tables at the restaurant.“
“I've tried this place 4 times now and have been very pleased. I always get the boneless wings and they are always big, meaty, tender, and the whole wing is covered in sauce. “The hostesses and waitresses are always well polite and well-mannered. They're also helpful in order to pick out good choices of food for people that have never been. I also like the fact that when you get soda from them you don't have to worry that the soda is flat it's always crisp and tastes wonderful. I have to say I definitely recommend their salads and their wings by far the best on the menu definitely can't wait to go back again.Parking: The location was very clean and tidy outside there was plenty of handicap parking near the door and parking for people that were picking up orders for delivery. Every other parking spot that was available was set next to really beautiful trees.Kid-friendliness: Not only did this restaurant have great music that you could hear playing along with the many TVs up for Sports Center and a comedy station but they also had claw machines and video games for Children's Entertainment“

I got the boneless wings with the dry lemon pepper seasoning and fries, and my daughter got the southern style wings with the apple BBQ sauce. We shared an order of the fried oreos as well. The apple BBQ sauce was really tasty. I liked the boneless wings better than Wing Stop (I think they are too greasy) and BWW's (they just taste gross) boneless wings. The curly fries weren't overly greasy. I don't make it a habit of eating fried oreos, but these were better than the others I've tried from different establishments. “It’s a great pizza most of the time, though the quality can suffer a bit if they are super busy. I also wonder if they are losing out by not being open earlier during football season. They are so close and convenient for me, but they are closed when the games starts, so like a lot of people that like a pie for the game, we go elsewhere.“
