Dietary restrictions: They have GF pasta options which is nice but I didn’t really like the vodka pasta (too spicy) or the lasagna (too much sauce and no beef

I’ve been coming DeMarcos a while now. And this review is long overdue. What an amazing spot. Such an amazing vibe and the food is amazing. Carbonara is one of my favorites. But my new favorite is the Neapolitan pizza!!!! Honestly this pizza is my new happy place . Must try! Shout out to Erica the bartender. Attentive & Friendly.

Our waitress was not very attentive. Never asked us if we wanted a second drink. We had to send the girl who cleans the table after her to get her attention. Too noisy on a Friday night

I have never given a bad review before. I wanted to love it. I was told we made it in time for happy hour. We had 30 minutes before it ended. We got 3 cocktails. She took 15 minutes before we got our drinks and did not come back for another 20 minutes after to be sure happy hour was over. Got our bill and and the drinks were not even discounted. It took sooo long to get everything that I just paid it and left. We drove 30 minutes to try it and I am still bummed. It was for my daughter's birthday and I felt bad for her because she loves Italian.

We were not seated in a timely manner - 40 minutes after our reservation time we sat at bar. Bartender was MIA for long periods of time on a Saturday night - Manager was only attentive after several requests. Food came out cold. 3 stars is a compliment and due to some enjoyable past visits. This restaurant has too good of a location and potential for the sub-par experience.
Had a great meal and sweet waitress. It was very busy and they could have used more staff. Drinks took quite awhile to get from the bar. We could tell the waitress was a bit frustrated. Management should beef up the schedule on a Friday evening.

DO. NOT. Eat here. The food is absolutely terrible and tasteless. My food was cold and had absolutely no seasoning. The pasta and calamari!!!! I would not come back!!

Had a lovely experience at D'Marcos! Our party ordered the chicken parmigiana, shrimp gemelli and the halibut and everything was delicious! Every staff member I encountered was very polite and knowledgeable. Amazing drinks and atmosphere! at the perfect spot in Downtown Rochester.Vegetarian options: The chef is very accommodating

My family celebrated my birthday dinner at this restaurant this past weekend, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional across the board, with appetizers hitting the mark perfectly. The calamari was delightfully flavorful, while the spicy sausage and peppers offered a satisfying kick. The homemade pasta was a standout, boasting rich flavors, and the wood-fired pizza added a unique touch to the dining experience. I opted for the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection. Our waitress, Grace, was not only kind but also incredibly knowledgeable and efficient. Despite our large party, the food arrived promptly, and the attentive staff continuously checked in to ensure our satisfaction. Overall, a five-star dining experience that we’ll definitely revisit.

Very disappointing. Just moved to Rochester today and was looking forward to a decent meal. Each pasta dish had a watery consistency, lacked flavor, and tasted like it was of frozen meal quality.
Ughhh, I wanted to love it because the ambience is cool. But the pastas are all watery and bland. Steak is low grade. Not worth $30-$50 a person. I hope to come back if they fix the kitchen. Pizza is

Love their pizza & pastas! Drinks were delicious as well. Service was fair this time, seemed like our waitress forgot about us often. Not very personable. Overall, would recommend. Nice spot for families, date night, friends, etc.

Service and ambience was nice, but food was sub par. For a supposedly Italian restaurant that claims specialty in pasta and pizza, 2 out of 3 dishes had overcooked pasta to the point of mushiness and being clumped together in one mass. The sauce in the shrimp gemelli was bland and over-runny to the point of tasteless, the sausage and peppers was average with a questionable choice of fettuccine instead of a more standard approach like penne or rigatoni to hold the sauce. For the same money La Colina would have been the better choice, with at the minimum the ability to properly cook pasta.
