Love stopping in anytime I visit Rochester. Downtown Cafe is a local staple that’s been around for years, the staff is always friendly, the food is fresh and I love sitting on the patio in warmer months. The prices are fair and the portions are large too. The cozy cafe is a great place to meet up for brunch with friends or a cute breakfast date before walking the paint creek trail and around Rochester Park. Can’t wait to visit again!

This is the best breakfast in Rochester. It's not even close. Everything that I've had there has been top-notch. My favorite is the corned beef hash but there's always something delicious on the specials. It's also very nice sitting outside in the summer. Their patio is small but very nice.

Small, local Cafe in downtown Rochester. ALWAYS busy and packed. Food is upper scale cafe/breakfest/brunch. They consistently have a line, and usually, weekends are extremely packed. There is no parking, that's the only thing wrong, they have parking for maybe 6 to 8 cars which they share with La Marquise Salon, beyond that there is an overflow parking lot for the other 12 stores in the plaza next to them and that's it. Food is about $20 a person minimum with 1 food item, 1 drink, and a $3 tip. Dished are between $12-$16 for most items.Vegetarian options: Dishes are labeled, or you can modify them to your liking.Dietary restrictions: Dishes are labeled, or you can modify them to your liking.Parking: There parking lot has 6 to 8 spaces that they share with a salon. There's a plaza next to them with 12 stores that has a 30 car parking lot behind them. You can overflow park there or pay to park in the street downtown. Very hard to park.Kid-friendliness: It's a local, small cafe. Kids welcome but should be mannered to sit down. No space to be playing or running.Wheelchair accessibility: Small cafe, first floor, no stairs but narrow pathways.

Found this cozy cafe in Rochester Hills called Downtown Cafe. It's a cozy place with a warm atmosphere and the staff is friendly and attentive. The breakfast is excellent, especially the fresh fruit and amazing quiche. It's a great spot for a hearty morning meal. Highly recommend checking it out.

Snug, small place--warm & inviting prompt service. Fills up tables quickly. Nice place for conversation...a breakfast/lunch date. Menu has creative choices beyond the basics. Saw take-outs, too. Food presentation pleasing & hot stuff served hot! I had a late breakfast of mixed wildberry pancakes & later heard others ordering the same. I'll try it here again.
