Nice place, great service and clean. The food was underwhelming and lacked flavor.

Daniel was our server, and WOW did he do an amazing job. My wife and I came for her birthday and Daniel had some Excellent suggestions for dinner. His assistant, Jenny, was very professional. We WILL DEFINITELY come back again. Thank you for an amazing evening!

Excellent food and service. All the dishes are very tasty. Love the French onion soup. Right on the Main Street, good location, plenty of street parking available.

5:00 o'clock reservation on Valentine's Day. Not super crowded. Tasty food. The French Onion Soup is outstanding! We did street parking. Great service.

Might just be the best restaurant in Rochester. Had intimate feel with its small size. The food was spectacular. But be ready for a hefty bill, which seemed well worth the price. Service was friendly but not sophisticated.

Nice place for a dinner. The drinks were pretty good but I little weak in my opinion but the food was good. We got steak tips as an appetizer which were cooked well and tender and French onion soup which was great. One of the better French onions. The two pastas were good also the fiery pasta does have a kick. Would go back.

Superb food and service! A great date night restaurant! Went to downtown Rochester for a date night. We had no plans, reservations or any idea of where we wanted to go. We came across Rochester Bistro and luckily there were a few tables available, little did we know how lucky we'd be! They had a lot of different pasta, seafood, and steak dishes to choose from. I landed on the Chicken Alfredo and my wife landed on the Salmon. We traded dishes throughout the meal because both of ours were so tasty. We had a really nice server too that came out many times to see how things were going, and to make sure we were stuffing ourselves with bread! Just when we thought we couldn't eat anything more after our entrees were done, we were presented with the dessert menu. Ugh! We ended up splitting a chocolate cake. We'd be fine later on because we walked it off at Home Depot! Rochester Bistro is a date night MUST!

My salmon was overcooked and dry. The Italian Wedding soup was ok. The side Caesar salad was of low quality...iceberg lettuce in a very small portion. In general, not a good value here, I've had better food at other places for 2/3rds the price. It was unexpectedly loud in the restaurant. It feels like an overpriced sports bar. I'm not planning to eat here again.

The food and service deserves 5 stars. I had a ribeye special and my wife a pork chop special. The waitress and other staff were on top of keeping our drinks full and our food cooked perfectly. However, before I left the restaurant I used the restroom. It was embarrassing how gross the restroom was. Unfortunately, it left a bad impression in my mind. It reminded me of a bathroom you would find at a college night club. Only one toilet worked, the one that worked was gross, there was trash all over the floor, extra supplies were kept under the sink in shredded baskets. It was unfortunate that such a fabulous restaurant would have such low standards in their bathrooms. I sure hope the standards in the kitchen are much higher.
