“Great food! We had the day’s specials of homemade sloppy joes and beef stroganoff. The sloppy joe tasted just like my moms! My husband also had the hamburger vegetable soup and gave it a thumbs up. The waitress was friendly, efficient and helpful -answering my questions about the food and recommended a motel for our night stopover. We would definitely eat here again (which we may do for breakfast tomorrow morning).”
“I love Tradewinds my 7 year old son and I stop in for a donut and I get my coffee a few days a week. They make real coffee in a reap Bunn machine for 1.58 a cup. The donuts are made from scratch by people who live and pay taxes in rogers city. So I consider 2 bucks and a few pennies a bargain for a scratch hometown made donut. (And real coffee)Kid-friendliness: It's full of donuts trust me your kids going to be real friendly in there after a caramel fry cake”
“I always take my grandkids here for all the wonderful smoothies..There's just so many amazing drinks to choose from. I have a hard time choosing, because there all so great! ? I love this place so much!!”
“Amazing food, quality, and decent sized portions. Affordable prices and server was very kind. They were a little slow, but they seemed fairly busy when we first got there. Best place to eat in Rogers City! The cheesey breadsticks are to die for good!! An absolute must try.”
“Unbelievable food! Got pastrami sandwiches with the soup lunch special [they sold out of loaded potato but still had cheesy broccoli!], authentic deli experience.”
“This is the cleanest place to eat in town(all year). The best looking bartenders, try Josh's bloody Mary!! Some unique stuff like loaded tots with queso (ask for queso on side) you can call and pick up to.”
“This is a nice place, you have the regulars that come in and its like being around family. My first time in here and there's 2 pool tables, it's actually bigger on the inside than it looks. The bartender is a sweetheart.”
“Old school small town bar. Michelle and her husband trying to make a go of it understanding that they are not trying to impress anyone. Good prices, basic selection, and some Better Made chips for food. Play some pool and music on the Juke box.”
“The pizza is phenomenal, we were in Rogers City on vacation and wanted something different. Not from a chain, this is the best pizza I've had in a long time, friendly service as well, well be back for this again. Thank you!”
“This place was great! Didn't know where to go for dinner, so checked out this place. Made a good choice by coming here! The food is great and you get very big portions. We also stayed a little long and the service was great about that.”
“Took my sister and cousin visiting from out of state to my favorite restaurant and Up North 23 did not disappoint! Besides the great food and exceptional service, there was a gorgeous rainbow over the lake while we were there. What a wonderful time we had!”
“We loved this tavern! It’s been around over 60 years but is recently remodeled inside and very clean. At one time, it was a bar, barbershop and bank all in one. The barber chair still sits in the corner. Our bartender was Tammy, who is delightfully friendly and attentive. When she learned we were vacationing in the area, Tammy shared information about all her favorite local attractions from strawberry picking to the local farmers market, great bakeries and craft breweries. Contrary to previous reviews, we found Greka’s had a large beer selection and a bar food menu including hamburgers, hot dogs, crinkle fries, chicken bites, etc. We didn’t eat but the food looked great. Our party enjoyed the Cheboygan Brewing Blood Orange Honey beer, a good Titos martini, Chardonnay, and some awesome Apple Pie shots. We had so much fun with Tammy that we returned a second time before leaving town!”
“Ordered carry out sweet and sour chicken and abc chicken along with 12 egg rolls needless to say I slept great and gained 4 lbs at least food was great quality I think half these comments that are bad are from downstate people that believe they are entitled to first class service which can be hard to do up north when we have a short window to make money ya can't hire 5 employees when your only busy a few hours a day maybe these people need to learn patience ?”
“I love McDonald's chocolate chip cookies. I order 15 so of course I ate 6 on my way home lol. The employees taking the orders are great and at the pickup line.... fast service. Thank you oh and wanna try something new? Order a Double cheese Burger with Mac sauce.Parking: Always parking spots, mostly everybody goes through the drive through.”
“Normally I order on line because the workers usually have bad attitudes but today my app wasn't working came in and the subway worker had a badge with the name quinten I may not be spelling that right but I must say his personality was refreshing for once. He didn't say anything bad about the company as most complain how they have it so bad. He had no problem with my request to build the sub on other side of the bun so the meat is on the bottom of veggies no eye roll no equipping about how they are trained to make them just did it no questions asked and best yet while being quick building the sub everything was perfectly spaced out so all the toppings were even throughout the sub not leaving most ofthe meat at one end of the footlong and barely any on the other end! He was pleasing to talk to and made it the best experience I have had here in a good year or so. Because of this I was sure to give him a $5 tip. Find more employees like him and you will be able to turn your bad reputation of snippy workers around for sure!”
“The food was so good! We had the fried chicken, Hawkeye burger and nacho cheese dish and all was delish! I don’t know the name of our waitress, but she was so friendly and service was really good!”

“Amazing service! Always goes above and beyond. Even during festival season they are the smoothest running business in town! Their menu is expansive and I love that you could go every day and get something new & delicious.Their cold foam is the best I’ve ever had.”
