I have been here multiple times when I travel to Detroit for work. The service and food have been great everytime. They have more than just burgers, salmon, steak as a few examples. They also have good pricing on wine and beer.

The waiter told me if I'm only 1 person I should just take it to go instead of taking up his real estate and table, by only ordering soup. He had bigger parties to cater to. I didn't get a chance to order anything else. Ended up walking next door to a place called Beirut and it was much better service and food.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a flight attendant. On our way to pick up our cars from the parking lot, I mentioned that my friend's flight was delayed two hours and I was looking for a restaurant. Capital Bistro did NOT disappoint. Although the restaurant was crowded, the waitress acknowledged my arrival and seated me right away. The bartender, who had a full bar of patrons, also noticed me while I was sitting at the table. She came to ask me what she could do for me. I told her I would prefer the booth. So, she started to bus that table for me, and then nodded to me when it was ready. The booth was great, because I could put my backpack next to me and work on my phone without people wondering what I was doing there alone. I ordered a Black Horse Raspberry Ale and the bacon cheddar burger with fries. Despite it being quite crowded, the waitress brought my drink right away. The food arrived in a timely fashion not long after. The beer was cold, and the food was delicious! I also had asked for a glass of water which was refilled three times. So very nice. She even refilled it after I had paid the bill and still had time to kill (many waiters and waitresses. Ignore you after you have paid.) Great service, great atmosphere, great food!

This place has potential, but the kitchen staff totally dropped the ball! Beef in burger luke warm, and plain,. fries over cooked and cold. Felt srry 4 srvr as she was the only one serving drinks and food. Wish we had a better experience.

This restaurant is a short walk from the Holiday Inn Express, which offers long term airport parking with Qwikpark. They offer a nice pub menu with sandwiches, a couple of soups and salads, along with a handful of entrees and a full bar. We ate here twice - before and after our flight out of Detroit. Great Reuben sandwich and fish and chips. Friendly service and atmosphere!

My husband and I weren't expecting much from this place being as it is in a hotel. We had one of the best meals. What a hidden gem. I had the French onion soup, which I loved!! One of the best I ever had. My entree was the Rueben which I would drive three hours just to have right now. My husband had a burger. Yum!!! Go there, you will not be disappointed!
