This is the only Costco I have ever shopped at so I cannot speak to other stores. But I love the premade meals that this Costco has to offer. My boyfriend and I are very busy and don't always have time to cook and even before the pandemic going out was a special treat for us. The pre-made meals ALMOST taste like homemade. So thank you, who ever packages these meals. We really enjoy them. Plus when we buy a few they freeze really well!

Extremely disappointed after receiving an email about all these amazing specials that were for "this weekend only". I came to the store on the first day of the sale, and all of the things that I wanted to purchase were already gone! I could not make it until 5PM, but given the fact that it was the first day of a 3-day event, there should have been plenty left. All of the employees acted as though they had no idea what I was referring to when I mentioned this ad. The paper towels in the photo were not available. When I asked an employee about them, I was told that they were on the floor yesterday, but he hadn't saw them at all today. Almost as if they were taken off the floor for the sale. It seems to me that they sent this ad to bring in traffic, even though they are not available. When I asked another employee where I could find the spinach and cheese cannelloni that was listed at $3 off, she pointed me in the direction of an empty refrigerator. I spend a lot of money in Costco, and this incident has me seriously considering canceling my membership and trying Sams Club or BJs instead. It is really rude to post an ad for things that are not available. If it was truly sold out already, there should have been a limit on the items, that way customers that have to work during the day can still get a chance as well!

This is a pretty decent store but you can't share a cart and if you do you have to use your own cart or carry your stuff also avoid the self checkout if you do this cause it's apparently a rule. Costco should have smaller carts for people that are buying just a few things in order to avoid people sharing carts or doing two separate orders.

This is a very tyrannical store. it's bad enough you're forced to wear a mask but then they are nitpicky as to the type of mask you wear. (I have a see through mesh mask which provides the same amount of protection as a cloth mask). Very rude managers incorrectly quoting CDC guidelines and what masks prevent coronavirus would not let me use that mask. (only n95 works) the CDC says cloth masks "MAY" protect from Corona but it has not been proven. I've been putting off canceling in hopes that they would get better but they've just gotten worse.

Stacey -Operator # 129 was very friendly and chatted with the customer in front of me so when I walked up and I said "Hi" to her and she did not reply or acknowledge me at all I was surprised. She scanned my order then turned her back to me .. never gave me a total - I paid with my debit card. She gave me the receipt. Never looked at me or said one word. She made it very clear she did not want to deal with me. I could fee it and she showed it. I did not have a large order, I had all my smaller items on the belt, my cart in the correct place for her to easily scan the big items, my card ready, my mask on! What could it be that made her treat me so differently than the customer right in front of me? She was chatty and friendly with her!?? The only difference, The color of my skin. Sad but true. I have been going to this Costco (11/Gratiot) and the service has always been excellent. I won't be going back. I am going to try BJ's today.. if Costco employs people that treat other people differently because they are not the same race I will not give them my business.

This was the worst Costco I have ever been to. They were not professional and treated us poorly. The workers were very rude and the manager was not helpful at all. I ended up leaving my two full carts because the people at checkout were so disrespectful and rude. Will drive the extra 15 minutes to go to different Costco!

Although I usually shop for a two person household, Costco is great for any homes basic essentials as long as you have storage space. Prices and quality are so good, one will make storage space for the savings and quality of goods. Vitamins/minerals, paper products, school supplies (for the teacher), coffee/cereals, meats/cheeses and veggies are all high quality and best choices!! The staff are friendly and helpful. Stores are clean and organized. Appears to be a good place of employment from the conditions and attitudes of the employees and store.
