I grew up loving Tubby's subs back when they actually were kind of good. In the past few years since I've been back, it seems that the brand isn't what it used to be, and it's hard to find a good location that does the subs correctly. When I saw that this location was close to work, I was hoping it was one of the "good" locations. I was a bit wrong on that. I've done a few Uber Eat's delivery orders from them and they consistently skimp on the meats. Granted, I always order the Tubby's steak and cheese and they don't seem to put enough meat on their subs at this location. When I went into eat I was going to ask for extra meat, but I did not since I was to tired and starving and didn't feel like hashing it out with the guy behind the counter. The steak and cheese came out good and in a timely manner, but again, they skimp on the meat. I wish this location would "do better" since Tubby's still in theory makes a good sub and I love the dressing that goes on it. Also, I don't think they have a public bathroom here either as it seemed to be blocked off by a bread cart in the corner. Seating here's plentiful and it wasn't as busy at lunch hour as I had anticipated. They do have a drive thru here which is convenient but not a requirement for me as I don't mind going inside. Since this place is located within a strip mall, there's plenty of parking and you can do other shopping while dining in here. Overall not my favorite Tubby's location but considering there isn't another sub shop within a decent driving distance from my job, I've gone here occasionally to get my sub fix from time to time. Maybe if they didn't skimp I'd give a higher review.

The Taylor, Dearborn and Riverview Michigan locations refuse to sell the cottage fries. Why is the item still on their website if they do not sell the products that are on the website. When I called the Taylor location the lady was very rude about it..

Jersey Mike’s is better since Tubby’s changed the way it’s made. It May be easier to make but it’s not the same sub. I wrote you a couple of years ago telling you that the change was pushing people to Jersey Mike’s. The response was so bad that I stopped writing and I stopped going to Tubby’s.

Just finished one of your large subs, and may I say.....disgusting, and over priced. A dollar and inch, John Holmes didn't charge that much, certainly not for what was about 3-4 ounces of meat, and the mushrooms......not much better. Just so you know, I wouldn't eat here again if YOU paid me,out of your own pocket.

St Clair Shores Tubby’s on Harper is Terrible. My order was wrong with items missing as well. Two young kids running the place with no management on duty. I Will not be back, lesson learned. Save your money and go else where.

If I could put no stars I would. I live around the corner snd me and my husband have tried this place a few times thinking it was just the worker that day but NOPE. Every, single, time, you get 1/4 of the meat you get maybe a half a handful of shredded lettuce and you can't even look onion cause they put 2 on there and call it a day. It's pitiful and horrible management telling their workers how to make subs to what? Cut cost? The worst Tubby's I've ever been too and will never get it again. I shouldn't have to pay 2x the price for "extra" meat just f it to compare to the other sub shops. Don't waste your money here

Staff was friendly and my order was ready quickly, maybe to quickly. My sub was okay, really nothing special. But I ordered fried mushrooms. They were one step from burnt, yet more then one was ice cold in the center. I hadn't eaten at a Tubbys in years. I most likely won't try again.
