The food is good but just way to darn expensive for so little. Walked out of here for $15.89 for a mini bowl and a drink. I usually order extra meat because the portions aren't enough. I'm not sure if this location is cheap but they limited my topping unlike the other locations I visit. Be prepared to spend a god amount of money here and not be full. It's to bad the food wasn't a bit more fair priced or more bang for your buck.I will say it's always good though.,

One of my favorite places to eat. So flavorful and it's easy to order. It's fast, feel good food. The pickled beats are delicious.

The most amazing thing happened. My wife and I ordered two mini bowls. After completing our meal and packing up the leftovers we happened to glance down at the receipt to notice they had charged us for the Honest bowl. Upon going to the counter and pointing out the mistake a bald male employee stated. I would have to wait for a manager to come in and correct the mistake. When I asked why he said why are you being rude? I said you overcharged me and I am being rude? By this time my wife had cleared the table and now this little imbecile was asking to see the bowls. We left. Please steer clear of this dishonest and horribly staffed joke of a restaurant. Who on earth would lie about an honest mistake? Obviously this little bald line cook, who's mom probably owns the place. My wife and I are driving home and still shaking our heads.

The food is good but their prices were too high before and now they're putting up signs that they have to increase prices again..?!? I'm sorry but $20 for an honest bowl is insane...I'll be going to Chipotle or Mr. Kabob and getting 2 entrees for the price of 1 here. I wish they could figure it out...smh

Honest Bowl is a hearty size to fill, but the other bowls are satisfying. There are plenty of meat options to choose from and topping to go along with it. Personally, a little more rice could go in the bowl. I did get too many toppings, which confused my taste buds. It's not a bad thing, though. I was well satisfied. A few toppings have a serious pickling kickback and eye twitching power. The bread is just a freakin awesome compliment. The crew is very nice and works hard to get orders complete. Steady flow of customers.

I grab lunch here almost everyday. The staff is friendly, food is delicious, and I feel no guilt whatsoever because everything is fresh and (my choices at least) and very healthy. 10/10

The food was phenomenal, portions were generous even for snack size, and the prices were extremely reasonable. Can't recommend highly enough!

I really liked this place and went several times during my last week's trip to Detroit. I thought it was excellent quality food at a good value. It was reliable, quick, and nice service when I went and the place was nice and clean on the inside. I opted for the honest bowl when I went which ended up being around $13 and was maybe 1-1.5 portions of food. Could be split up into two meals for a less hungry person. I got half chicken half pork both times on wheat, and got plenty of veggie toppings. The pickled veggies were phenomenal and the meat was tender and well-seasoned. If I have a few minor complaints: -things weren't labeled well in the store and the ordering process was a bit confusing. It was unclear my first time how many of each topping you got and what each one was -the honest bowl is almost too much food and the mini bowl is not enough. Unfortunately there's about a dollar difference between the two which makes the mini bowl a terrible deal. If I ever wanted a smaller meal I would probably skip this place because it's such a horrible deal for a small portion. All in all, this place was delicious and I will be going back next time I'm in town!

i crave this place so often it's stupid. my go-to is the falafel honest bowl with harissa and blaze sauce, the atum and osiris salad, black bean hummus, and the peasant salad... it's delicious every single time, and very filling. the chickpea and hominy soup is a lesser-bought item that's delicious as well -- simple, but excellent: don't sleep on it. i wish the arook didn't contain egg, and that they still has grape leaves, but everything they do, they do exceptionally... except maybe the garlic sauce. it's not bad, but it consistently lacks "oomph" when i've had it. overall though, ez 5/5. i hope they can keep expanding for their and my sake.

I love the food. For around $12 you can have the honest bowl. It features wheat or rice, proteins that include, chicken, beef, lamb, and even pork. The salads are so fresh and loaded with good stuff. I am also a big fan of the hummus. I dip the fresh baked bread in it. So so good. I highly recommend it.

The staff is super friendly and helpful! We came in for the first time and were overwhelmed (in a good way) with all of the choices! The staff helped us decide what to get and were so patient with us. The food was AMAZING and so noticeably fresh. Our bread was so hot and fresh it was streaming!! It was TO DIE FOR! Our entire group was so happy! I highly recommend this spot!! ??
