They dont answer the phone always because they are prepping sandwhiches and meals for their daily delivery routes to local businesses in the area, and they have atleast 6 routes per day from what I remember. I love Avenue Deli because its a family owned business and they make the most delicious sandwhiches, I really like them all, cant go wrong with any of them. Usually the front door is open business hours if you want to walk in and place an order at the counter.

Love love love this place. Our salon gets sandwiches from here once a week ( no lie). My favorite is the Waldorf salad on a croissant!!!!

First off, upon walking into the deli you smell something awful-like a combination of mold and rotten meat. The employee taking my order did not even know the menu and hence made me the wrong sandwich. The sandwich itself tasted bad. The corn beef was sliced too thick and tasted like spam. They must have use the cheapest corn beef on the market. The entire time I was in the deli the employees kept giving me dirty looks-like as if I was bothering them or something. This cheap a** business does not even have a machine to swipe your credit card-instead the lady used her iPhone. Which I am very uncomfortable with. Stay away from this place at all costs.
