Quaint and modern little spot. Can definitely see it livening up during the warmer months. I had a reservation for my husband’s birthday. Aperol for me and a wise and handsome for husband. Both good. We shared the steak tartare and braised beef apps. Both were delicious. Nice just and flavor with the tartare. The whipped feta with beets was smooth and delicious. I got the scallops and risotto. The risotto Nero was interesting. I don’t know if they added cheese but there was almost a smaller gelatin consistency. Scallops were nicely seared. Other main was the tagliatelle with lamb ragú. It had a nice hint of spice and the fresh pasta was evident. Dessert was a VERY rich chocolate ganache-like dessert with small malt balls on top. There was a hint of thyme which was a good contrasting flavor.

Super good. Surprised us with the quality of food for a fairly casual place. Will be back.

The entire experience was really great! We had a party of eight (Dinner Club) and ordered several starters along with our entrees. The food & service was amazing. Our only suggestion for the night was to address the odor/kitchen exhaust. However, We will definitely be returning to enjoy and try the patio ambiance this summer.

We started with the Beets appetizer and arugula salad, both were done very nicely and easily split by two people. Then we had the halibut and Waygu ribeye and both were cooked perfect. Space was small and quaint, which made the noise level a little high but didn't bother us. The waitstaff were always helpful and attentive.

Excellent dinner. Halibut was delicious and the steak tartare was wonderful. Attentive, efficient and friendly service made it a great overall dining experience.

This is one of the best places in Royal Oak for upscale food. I'd put it up against Selden Standard any day. I had the best halibut in my life there, and a beet and celery root appetizer that was absolutely astounding. Just a great foodie experience. The problem we had is the ventilation. The grill was throwing exhaust into the restaurant causing my date's eyes to burn, and the next day my clothes smelled like a deep fryer. It dampened an otherwise fantastic experience.

After having an abysmal dinner experience the night before at a place we trusted, we thought we'd try again and go to Beppe's. The difference was like night and day. Every aspect of our dining was exceptional - we were greeted in a friendly manner, shown to our table, and our server came to our table soon after. He patiently answered all of my husband's questions, made sure to address both of us when explaining things (very important, no matter who is doing most of the talking). We ordered the seared cauliflower app which was phenomenal, and had the lamb ragu tagliatelle and short rib croquet as our entrees, both perfectly prepared and delicious. The chocolate tart dessert was also rich and amazing, and as we left we vowed to come back again and explore the short but well thought out menu further. Bravo, Beppe! You made us believe in memorable dining experiences again!

Beppe is always an amazing dining experience! Last night we had the Halibut and Chicken entrees, both of which are relatively new additions to the menu. Great food, great cocktails and wine! Sadly, our favorite bartender is leaving and we will miss him!

Will give it another try. The short rib croquets were awful. Halibut (very tiny) was good, potato cakes also very tiny were greasy and sitting in sauce. My friend had a burger and said it was good but she only ate 1/3 of it.

The arugula salad is tasty and plentiful. The house made fries with the aioli is worth your time and

This was my 2nd time at this restaurant. The first time there I had dinner and food was amazing. However, i was very disappointed when I went there today for lunch. The sandwiches were very oily and the chicken on arugula salad tasted disgusting. The food was pricey and definitely not worth it.

This restaurant is really the only great place to get dinner in Royal Oak. There are lots of other good places to eat but beppé is several steps above anything else in the city. The menu is concise but offers enough variance for anyone to find something they’d like. You can never go wrong with the rigatoni, but I have had everything on their menu over the past couple years and it’s all absolutely amazing. Outdoor seating in the summer is really nice and the drinks are always solid. 5 stars!

Went here a few months ago and have been meaning to leave a review. Not only was the food excellent, the bartender went above and beyond with finding me a wine for the night and writing out recommendations for the future. Incredible service and great staff and food!

Probably one of the most overlooked restaurants in Royal Oak. They do everything, from chicken, to pastas, to Salads. It's a small place, so probably more of a summer place than winter place. The servers are chatty and seem vested in wanting you to have a good experience. It's worth going away from the main thoroughfare and trying this comfortable little bistro.
