It just doesn't taste like the Buddy's I remember when we used to go to the original restaurant on Conant in Detroit proper. I suspect ingredients have slipped in quality over time. Still a decent pizza but not the Detroit superstar it once was.

I don’t post negative reviews if they aren’t warranted and here we are. Two years ago I left feedback for this Buddy’s because it’s consistently the worst quality location (takeout only) and somehow even worse than the one at the zoo, which you wouldn’t expect much from.Today, i have reason to leave a bad review because of the quality of this location. My daughter’s class wanted macaroni for their valentines day party and so their teacher called this location and were told one of their catering trays would be sufficient for 20 kids. Look at the picture attached of what I got. That 1/4 filled tray of burnt macaroni was $40!! Then they gave us a hard time about making it right and I had to drive back to pick up pizzas and thats it. As far as I’m concerned, when you screw up that badly, me having to drive back during the work day and get food i didn’t want just so I could feed kids isn’t making it right and while I was already done with this place, now I’m letting everyone else know what to expect. Just take a few more minutes and go to Troy

This Buddy's is a carryout location for a classic Detroit Style Buddy's Pizza. If you need a quick pizza carryout, this is a fine choice, if your looking to enjoy a great pizza experience, there are other choices (including other Buddy's) nearby.

First and last time here. Pizza is just bland like it lacks enough cheese. The place is dirty looking. There’s not even a place to sit while you wait if you are early. The parking lot if you can call it that stinks, you barely have enough spot to pull out after. The two individuals working appeared like they didn’t even want to be there.

I have been to this Buddy’s many time. I have not been there in about a year though. This store was really dirty unlike in the past. The food was good…just a salad. I was really amazed as I looked around at the state of the store.

I hadn’t had Buddy’s in a while and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the pizza and wings for almost $45.00, I expected more. The crust was not crispy. I ordered a large half veggie and half meat. There was ham and pepperoni on the veggie half. The wings were very small for 12 and not crispy, which we had requested well done.Worst pizza in 2024!!

I love Buddy’s Pizza. It’s so good and original, it’s a little more on the expensive side, but the quality of their food is like no other. I would recommend Buddy’s Pizza, it’s worth it.

Have gotten our orders wrong 100% of the time..like 3-4 times in a row. Even the online orders get botched…And act like you’re an inconvenience if you are waiting to pickup a pizza. Sadly giving up on this place.
