Love this place. They give you a ton of food. Prices are good. Food is always good. Trying to fill the character minimum at this point. Usually get chicken shawarma. Rice is good. They always give bread and salad. Hummus is homemade I think. It's good.

This place has the nicest staff and the best veggie grape leaves and salad ever- and their dressing is so good! I've been going here for a decade and they are still consistently amazing!!I have tried veggie grape leaves from several other restaurants and they usually just have dry rice inside but Falafel King's are not dry at all and its not just rice inside-- (chickpeas mixture and rice?)-- it is so delicious, and best of all gluten free!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and vegetarian options
We love Middle Eastern Food and Falafel King does an exceptionally good job with it. Until recently, I worked in Dearborn, the Arabic food capitol of Michigan (largest Lebanese poplution in the US). Fallafel King is one of the few places I've found in Oakland County that meets the standard of "Dearborn Quality"

I like Falafel King. I think I went there first over 13 years ago, so they sure have the "staying" power. The reason for that is most likely that the food is good. I have never had the Shawarma, only the Hummus, Baba, Fattoush, Majadra, Tabbouli and, of course, Falafel. All are good and tasty. The value is also good and tasty, especially considering the freshness and portion sizes. I guess when you run a going restaurant for a long time, you learn that price/value are really the key to longevity. The prices ARE reasonable and the portions are generous. In my exprience, the service is fast. My only little criticism is that the place needs a new coat of paint. The interior is tired, it strikes one as being a tiny bit 'dingy' when you walk in, but it IS a take-out place. (They do have a few seats inside.) If you like Mediterranean take out, then this place is definitely worth checking out.

I’m an African American woman who loves the taste of falafel. Yesterday I bought a falafel sandwich from this place. I asked for their “falafel queen” sandwich (from their menu that I was told had eggplant on it that I wanted to try and for them to put a thick paste of garlic sauce on it. They said yes and I paid and even tipped them in advanced before receiving my sandwich. I left with my sandwich and later discovered that there was no eggplant nor garlic sauce on it! And they were only speaking non-English while I was there!! I definitely am not going back there and suggest that others who are like me not do so as well! ?

I cannot believe it took me 2 years to finally try this place!! I live 5 mins away and I am officially addicted!!! I ordered the falafel king sandwich with garlic sauce instead of tahini sauce with a side greek salad. The falafel had the perfect crunch and chewiness to it. The pickled turnips that come on it are such a good addition. It's honestly the best falafel sandwich I've ever had. The salad had fresh veggies! They load it up with the toppings! I cannot recommend this place enough!!! I will be back.
