Lovely place to enjoy music, great bar food and good company. The burgers were 10/10. Location is on a very trendy street with lots of options.

Nice place to go for pizza or drinks. They also have burgers that look amazing although no one in our party bag any. The loaded waffle fries are so good, just be aware they have a kick in spicy.

Great place for lunch, the food flavors were pretty wonderful. Definitely recommend the truffle mushroom pizza. Server asked if we wanted lettuce on our burger and didn't realize that wasn't standard, so paid $1.50 for not reading the menu thoroughly enough, which seemed a bit excessive for lettuce. Our server wasn't very attentive and it took almost our entire meal to get condiments and refills and the restaurant wasn't very busy and during a slow lunch period.Parking: Large parking lot behind the building with pay to park, lots of street parking available as well.

We stopped by here for a quick bite on Sunday afternoon and had a pleasant meal and visit! We ordered their Truffle fries with garlic aoli, Jolly Pumpkin house cheese bread, and the Harvest Salad. I am glad we made the decision to share everything because the portions were definitely large enough to do so. The truffle fries were crispy and delicious, and the aoli had just the right amount of garlic to balance out the strong truffle/parmesan seasoning of the fries. The house cheese bread was as big as their pizzas! It was delicious and came with a roasted crushed tomato sauce on the side. And finally, the Harvest salad was the show stopper for me. Crisp lettuce with a nice spring mix and peppery arugula, goat cheese crumble, pickled beets, sunflower seeds, and walnuts made up the salad and it came with a delicious green apple vinaigrette dressing. The restaurant wasn't very crowded when we got there at 1:30pm but by the time we got up to leave the late lunch crowd was beginning to pack in. The staff was wonderful and very patient, especially with diners who had never been there before and the restaurant was very clean. Has a bar type feel to it but very much so a friends and family type of spot. They also have a broad beer and draft menu! I even saw them bringing a water bowl for some diners who ate on the patio that had a furry friend with them! It's those types of things and small gestures that make a restaurant great! We had a Jolly good time at JOLLY PUMPKIN in Royal Oak and I'm sure you will too!

Our waiter was THE BEST?. Upscale casual menu. Our 3 generation family of 4 (including one gluten free diet) all found very good selections. Enjoyed the meal and will definitely go back.

Pizza was delicious and the vibe and service were good. I am just not a fan of their in-house sours. Might be a preference thing but I have enjoyed other sours in the past.

Very cool vibe, good music. The food was great! Ordered the loaded up waffle fries as an app and I got the OG burger. Excellent. My wife got the Mac n cheese and said her only regret was not adding chicken as the server suggested.

The truffle fries were good, after they brought us a replacement because the first were cold. The South Pacific pizza was good but candied pineapple is overly sweet. We ordered the nachos and had mixed reviews. I did not like them, not much taste. My girlfriend liked them (she has great taste!). The looks of it was not appetizing at all. The service was excellent and so was the atmosphere.

Fun place. Multiple locations. Royal oak has the downside of annoying parking but the venue is nice. Service was polite and fast. Check out the happy hour menu! Great pricing! Loved the waffle fries and dill pickle grilled cheese. Excellent beer selection. Comfy booths and lots of seating. Would recommend to friends, and great for groups of 4-8. Fyi also noticed trivia coming in around 7pm on Tuesday when I was there :)

Four of us went to the Jolly Pumpkin yesterday for dinner before a show. It was a Saturday about 5pm. We were seated right away at a large round table with plenty of room.We had a great time. We didn't feel rushed by the server it was just a wonderful relaxing dinner. The food was excellent, and so was the beer, including one that was suggested by the waitress.. We ordered 2 appetizers, the house bread sticks and dynamite chicken would order both again. We ordered 3 pizzas to share. The BBQ chicken, Carnivore (meat lovers), and the Popeye (spinach). The crust was not as thin as I was expecting for a wood fired pizza... it complimented the pizza nicely. The sauce wasn't overdone, and the flavors all worked well together. It was all absolutely delicious ?.The waitress was very nice and polite and helpful. She did a great job.Next time, we are in Royal Oak. We will we will definitely go back to the Jolly Pumpkin.

I loved everything about this place. We visited a little over a week ago (late to review) and it was an enjoyable experience. The restaurant is clean and roomy. The tables are large and spacious which was great. Our server was friendly and informative and he was really cool. We dined in during happy hour and the deals on beer and the sharables was wonderful! The truffle fries are perfection! Just the right amount of truffle and herb and that rosemary aioli to go with the fries has to be terrible for you, but it is worth it. The breadsticks are incredible. Gooey cheese, the charred tomato marinara, you cannot go wrong. The Perfect Fried Chicken Sandwich is a mind ****. It was one of the craziest most delicious sandwiches I have ever tasted. I'm all for spicy and always interested in sriracha so the sriracha turmeric aioli and spicy pickles hooked me. It was exactly as the name says, perfect. The Char-grilled cajun wings are flavorful and tasty but they are huge wings, only issue with that was they seemed barely cooked so the texture was off.Overall, so much fun and a great time. Jolly Pumpkin had delicious food and beer, we left feeling extremely full but all having leftovers. Thank goodness, cause I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich as a late night snack. When we visit again, I'll be sure to be back.

The menu here is a little different than most bar/breweries. The pizzas are generally good - oven baked. The beer selection is decent with some brews made on premise. Some of the sandwiches get a little out of hand. The picture is a chicken sandwich. However it came with so much slaw that it could hardly be eaten. As in chiken and slaw sliding out of the bun.
