I absolutely love sitting table side while I have my food cooked in front of me. I love bringing people here who have never eaten this style before even more. That flash & blast of heat that comes of the hibachi table as Chef rings his dinner bell.I’ve been so many times I’ve got my order down to a science. Double salad keep the soup. That ginger dressing on the salad, always looks so watery, yet I find myself dumping the dressing from what’s left of the first on the second salad. Im a sucker for the fried rice, so I join everyone else and fall in line for an extra 2-3$ dollars for an egg & some sauce, lol.Shrimp. ? Shrimp ? Shrimp ?After my plate is loaded with both fried rice & some of those steaming hot noodles they take a spatula or two from the flat top, that they seared that shrimp on. After they load it up with melted butter, couple squirts of that sauce, couple shakes of that can, don’t forget that fresh squeezed lemon. Mmmm.(No Picture, sorry…. No time for photos when shrimp is about to hit plate)Come on man, enough of those theatrics, pour that shrimp over the good stuff, turn that exhaust vent off & let this guy enjoy this yum yum sauce goodness. Thank you chef!!

Good food. Kind staff. Not too busy on Sundays. And the size of the food is good! Reminds me of the portions in San Diego. Good stop for sushi!! The kani salad had a kick! Love it!!Parking: Midsize parking lot with about 20-25 spots.

I'm a customer service manager so writing a negative review is not something I like to do, but after our experience here last night, I feel this needs to be shared. We arrived for our reservation of 6 and were seated. One of my friends let the staff know she had gastric bypass and could only eat small amounts and asked if she could order off the kids menu, as most places allow in those circumstances. She was told it would be no problem. When it came time to order, the waiter rudely told her no. He then got another staff member, the same one who had already said yes, and now told no. So not only was there a scene but she was told something that was now being taken back, and had to get a menu again and redecide on her entire order.We were asked if we were paying separately or on the same bill. We let them know that we would like on one bill and we would figure out the break down ourselves. At the end we were all given separate bills. One of our friends had wanted to pay for the birthday girl as well as a portion of each of ours and when it was all separated and she expressed that, the staff member got annoyed with her and said she should have told him in the beginning and this would be too complicated and we needed to take care of our individual checks. Wow. She DID tell him!The food was good but the service was just terrible. I will be sticking to the Shelby Twp location where the staff actually seems to care about customer service.

So gross! Worst sushi and worst hibachi ever! Had take out today and the rice was filled with egg shells, the sushi had all the Eel skin that was thick and gross! The salmon was so greasy!Tried to talk to the manager on the phone to tell her about the problem but she didn’t pay attention to what I said and kept repeating my order to me!!Not sure how this place still in business!

Everything for the most part was pretty good. The only thing was that the waiter had to repeat the order a few times to get it right. We had a larger group and because there was 2 cooks, there was 2 servers. That was different, but otherwise not a bad experience.

Where do I start? Our server, Katelyn, was AMAZING! The manager, TERRIBLE!! The food was amazing until my son ordered the Udon noodles, and they were terrible!! Complained to the server and was advised, "No problem, give me a moment to get the manager." Manager comes to the table and asked what's the problem. After explaining, she proceeds to say, "Oh, I can't take it off bill, you ate some of it already." WHAT??? After telling her, I'm will NOT be paying for it, she tried to state that because they prepared it for the order, she can't take it off because that's wasting food!! WHAT?? If it wasn't for the courtesy of our waitress, I would've left and not paid for anything!!! All customers aren't always right, but to tell a paying customer, you can't take something off their bill because you cooked it and it'll waste food, is tacky, and unprofessional.

I have been coming here for several years. the food is phenomenal, the Atmosphere.is great.Kid-friendliness: It is very entertaining for the kids to see. The cooks do their style of cooking right in front of them. They also do blow up headset for the kids.Wheelchair accessibility: And it's a very sturdy and wide concrete ramp going up to the door. There is no stairs in the building to worry about.

I can’t leave anything less than 5 stars. The drinks I had were mediocre but it didn’t even matter bc the experience, service and food were absolutely insane. Did I mention the service!? There were 21 of us and they were accommodating. The chefs were passionate, fun, and engaging, and the food was top notch. Our server was the cutest thing, love her! And we all got hooked up on sake, you didn’t event need a cocktail! 100% my bfs best birthday party, even though he might not remember it! Would Recommend!! Will be back!!!

Pros. Amazing sushi. Loved their sushi menu. Nabayaki soup was delicious. Parking is easy. Cons was the service and seating. Open seating makes it very loud.. They appear to be understaffed. Waitstaff was inattentive and didn’t/couldn’t check on us etc.
