The prices are a lot higher than they used to be, but the ingredient quality has also improved considerably. I'm on a high protein/low fat diet seeking to lose weight, and some of their sandwiches work really well for this. Their grilled chicken sandwiches are extremely lean and high in protein, and the sweet onion teriyaki sauce is low in calories if you want to add a lot of flavor with only a small compromise.In order to keep down what you spend, I don't recommend any extras or meal combos - bring your own drinks and sides, and you can easily spend around $6-7 for a small sandwich or $11ish for a large one. If you are going here for your work lunch, I'd keep a huge supply of single serving chip bags in your trunk.They don't charge extra for veggies or dressing, so you can opt pretty freely for whatever will make your sandwich work.

Went in with my boyfriend today to get 3 subs cause we had a coupon. Him and I were very pleased with the service today. There were two really nice guys working who gave 10/10 service! Sandwiches were also really good too! You guys were awesome, thank you for hooking us up and being so friendly and professional! Keep it up. :)

***EMPLOYEES HERE DESERVE A RAISE!***I called before I went, because many subways didn't accept coupons. Josh? I believe picked up the call and he was super friendly and he said he will apply them for me. Not only that, but when I went into the store, he gave me great suggestions on what the most popular options are and what he thinks aligns with my preferences, and the sandwich was DELICIOUS.Not only that, when I wanted tomatoes on the sandwich, the other employee even got out a fresh set of tomatoes from the fridge JUST for my sandwich. They were super quick, precise and I was SUPER IMPRESSED with how they treated their customers. I wish more places would serve their customers like they served me.HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GOTO THIS BRANCH AND NOT ANY OTHER ONES.

I don't know if that's just how people act in royal oak but I walked in the two teens come from back look at me turn they face up one goes back into the back and the other just staring at me so I say hello good afternoon just to break the ice it was a very awkward feeling like they didn't want to serve me so I still order my food an older guy come in its all smiles and theygreated him so what makes me so different than him I think all races should be treated the same instead of turning your faces up when a person of color comes into your establishment like I don't belong out here

Awesome food better service. Met this guy named RJ who worked here he’s one of the most professional and nicest people I’ve met. We talked about sports and he made me a great sandwich it was first time at subway. Will be sure to go back soon and see RJ again!!!!

Astonishing rude staff had placed an order on the app had extra lettuce added bacon and jalapeños to my sandwich all toasted it looks like the bread was toasted and they forgot the bacon and added a strip after the fact and didn't add any jalapeños a light sprinkle of lettuce no dressing at all even tho all of it was blatantly written on the receipt and I called back up there because I got home ready to eat and there was all that wrong with it and so I had called up there and she said to bring the sub and the receipt up there and we could go over it together and the owner would be in in the morning I promise you we both looked at the receipt and I feel like the lady didn't know how to read because she fought me on everything she forgot

My boyfriend and I ordered through the app, when we received the order they messed up one of the subs. It was missing items it was also lacking when we said more it seemed like they put less of items. When we called up here to fix the problem the lady on the phone was very shot and snappy. Once we got to the store the attitude from the lady behind the counter did not stop. She was snappy and very rude.

Don’t ever go here. Closing hours are specifically 8pm, got there at 7:42 and both doors were locked, I called and spoke to the woman working and asked if they were closed or open and she said that they were closed. It’s like 7:47 at this point, I said “but it’s not 8:00 yet”, then she rudely said “we’re getting ready to close”.Needless to say I will NEVER be back here!

Ordered via door dash. My turkey melt came thrown in a paper bag, not even wrapped in subway paper like subs usually are. Needless to say my sandwich was a mess inside the bag when it arrived. This location has serious issues and the staff should be embarrassed with the service they are providing. Most times they do not have the items you ordered and they substitute without asking. Once they replaced coworkers salads with a sub? My coworker doesn’t eat bread, all due to them not having bowls that day. Will never go back again, have given them too many chances and they have yet to redeem themselves.
