If you're looking for a place to eat in St. John's, this is a great place to start. They have great appetizers. My favorite is the nachos. They have a great selection of beer ciders as well.

Friday night, waited TWENTY minutes at the front door right in front of the “please wait to be seated” sign. Finally, after being walked right in front of, on 3 separate occasions, I walked to the bar and flat out asked if anyone was coming up front??? “Sorry we don’t have any seating”Then come up and tell people that. Last time we’ll be walking in this building.

Me and my daughter had a very nice lunch here. It wasn’t crowded and service was spot on. Food was very good and beer was too.

Great little spot right off the highway. Had a couple of their beers, not bad. They also had excellent food and 20 taps.

The food was very good. The service was great. They have a large selection. I had the rib eye sandwich this trip. First time the mother clucker. Both were good.

A suggestion is to try the Mac and cheese with the brisket burned ends. This was straight preem. And a decent serving size as well. The atmosphere was ok and the server was good to work with.

Good atmosphere. I had burnt ends appetizer and they were pretty dry. I also had the pig Mac. Fries were the highlight of this meal. Crispy with salt and pepper. Pulled pork was eh. Not bad not good. Not a ton of flavor. Mac and cheese was beyond disappointing. Sauce was very watery and there was Texas toast on the bottom which was more like mush.

Their food is excellent and portions are giant. This is the only place my "smoked meat snob" relatives actually praise.

Ordered the lightly seasoned pan fried cod filet and specifically asked if it was really pan fried and was told YES!! What we got was 3 deep fried cod pieces with very little dill sauce. Very disappointed AGAIN, won't go back!!
