I really enjoyed this pub/restaurant. The only "con" for me was that, with the high ceiling and pressed metal ceiling panels, it can get noisy, I assume. I was there for lunch, and a conversation across a four-person table was a little strained. I cannot imagine what it would be like on a Friday or Saturday night. The bar looked full, and the menu featured a nice variety of meals. The staff was very friendly and quite attentive - just the "right amount." Parking is plentiful in the rear and there is a rear entrance. Just make sure that you catch the attention of the hostess at the front door, as, generally, they would like to seat you. So that is a minor drawback - rear door - cross the length of the restaurant - perhaps only to retrace your steps back to the rear of the restaurant. I will be happy to try this place out again.

Went there on a Wednesday night , I ordered the pretzel bites and were over cooked also the sweet potatoes fries were burnt. Jut not very good. Also had the burger which was an average taste nothing to write home about.

Brecon has fantastic expresso martinis! Sitting at the bar and talking with the friendly staff and other patrons is always a good time.
Our server was awesome! Very friendly and attentive. Hustled the entire time! The Rhuban was delicious stacked with a thick juicy slice of corn beef. For dessert we ordered something I had never seen offered before, baclava cheese cake! It was so good! We will definitely be back!

Omg! Delicious Reubins. The sauce on the side was so good. The sandwich was the best Reubin I've ever had. The French fries were tasty not bland. We had excellent service. Makes me wanting move to Michigan. We'll come here again.

Food is very good and affordable. Beer is awesome. But what makes this place great is the people. The owner Paul works there and puts in long hours. He is attentive to the customers. One of my favorite bartenders/servers is Sydney. Can't find a more friendly person than her. She knows all the "regulars". Such as great local place.
