First time here, and the food was delicious. The chicken came out quickly, so quickly, I was concerned it would be dry from sitting around. Instead, it was juicy, succulent, and perfectly seasoned (not too salty). Shared sides of grits, greens, coleslaw, and delicious pickles. Mac and cheese was good, but not $18 good. I prefer my grits a bit finer and creamer, but still ended up scraping the bowl! View of the river was lovely and am sure would be wonderful to sit outside on a warmer day. Would love to make this place part of a regular dining rotation, but thought it was a bit pricey even by today's standard.
An absolute gem we were lucky to come across. The fried chicken was great, the Catfish Robert was amazing and totally unexpected and the service was super friendly. A little pricy for a family lunch with young kids, but not really complaining, it was that tasty.

Beautiful place. We loved the chicken, gratin was amazing.
Wonderful, well executed southern food. The biscuit remained soft on the inside and crusty on the outside despite the onslaught of dripping Nashville hot sauce coming from the perfectly crispy, juicy fried chicken it was holding. When the heat became a bit challenging, lovely cool coleslaw came to the rescue. Excellent grits and greens. My 13 year old said it was the best cheeseburger he’d ever eaten. Casual Appalachian atmosphere and a nice view. We will be coming back for dinner and cocktails.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu staples well executed the way kids (and adults) like them.
Habenero Hot is the real deal! Hottest most flavorful chicken I ever had! Hands down gotta check it out if you really like Hot

The biscuit chicken sandwich is amazing. Great summer place but the wait can be extremely long. Open off season as well, I prefer off-season because it's so much less
Service was outstanding. They had Faygo Rock N Rye, my favorite soda, so home run there. I had the chicken dinner. It was so good. Nice and moist. My daughter had their mac & cheese. She said it was really good. I will be back.
