went to this restaurant last night while on holiday. top tier everything, a steal at the price. i want to try everything on the menu; if i lived nearby i'd order something of theirs every two weeks. wish it was back home in chicago so i could recommend it to all my local friends.it was the night after thanksgiving 2023 and we dined alone for most of our meal, just the server and us. confident in saying: almost anyone dining out elsewhere that night was making a mistake.Vegetarian options: 2 or 3 vegetarian appetizers, 5 vegetarian meals in the veg menu section, my partner ordered sultan's tava and was delighted

Amazing food, friendly and welcoming staff, pleasant interior and magical exterior - we go occasionally in the summer to eat in the garden area and watch the frogs, fish, and butterflies. It's on the expensive side compared to some of the options in the area, as some reviewers note, though that's really only for a few specialty items. But it should be - it's a very high quality restaurant with unique cuisine, and would easily fit into any major city with rave reviews at twice the prices they charge.

Horrible server. I sat down for about 20 minutes, and my waitress ignored me. I am still trying to figure out what her problem is. She flat-out ignored my attempts to get her attention. This is a long shot, but please reconsider where you work. Working in public means you will get many people walking into your door. As a waitress, you need to respect your customers, show a desire to help them and stop being rude to certain ethnicities. The owner seems a sweet man; unfortunately, his staff is just rude for some reason.
We love Cafe Gulistan! The garden is lovely, the food is very good, the people are friendly and helpful.

Food is very tasty. Portion sizes for the price are a bit small. There isn’t too much in Sawyer so I would say this place is a must-visit if you want to try the Sawyer g food scene.

Stopped in with my parents on my birthday, something different, and we were all blown away on how tasty the food was. The baklava was so delicious. My parents have driven past the restaurant numerous times and always have wondered, I'm sure they'll stop in there again. Thanks for the tasty meal!
