Oof.. okay. First time getting food here, I don't know if they were having an off night or something, but this was pretty disappointing.First off, value for the money is really poor. I paid $25 for my Kafta Kabob meal and I got less meat than a $3 McDonald's McDouble. To make matters worse, the Kafta was bland (not spiced?) but tasted strongly of fish??Now the sides could've saved it... But... The rice was mushy, the salad tasted old, and the pickled veg was quite bland. The hummus tasted fine but felt over processed.With so much Middle Eastern food around that tastes better here at competitive prices with better value, i don't think I can recommend Ike's.

Ordered carry out for guests the Tabouli was filled with little sand like particles. My guests chewedg on sand/dirt. If you are familiar with parsley this happens WHEN ITS NOT WASHED. This parsley was taken directly out of a bag or box, cut up and served. When we called the restaurant we were told they are “very busy” this happened at both locations Shelby and Sterling Heights. Very very sad….So if they aren’t rinsing the parsley what else isn’t cleaned or washed before you consume it?

Seriously the most kindest folks around! My son comes in there frequently for bread and garlic. Today we got the three person tray. So much food, great price. The entire staff is beyond amazing, just all around good people with smiling faces. We also got to try some of the ice creams. Mind blown is an understatement. The salted caramel was out of this world.All the food was fresh and cooked perfectly. I’m so in love with the veggies. Thanks for serving the community top tier food and kindness. You all go above and beyond.We love you guys!!! ?Kid-friendliness: They are so good to my son. You guys have such big hearts and we truly appreciate you all. God bless you guys.
Good food and good place unfortunately I've been here 3 times in a week for all 3 first time visits and they've messed up every order.1st visit asked for light garlic and could barley eat it with how much garlic was on it2nd visit they mis labeled My shawarmas which my friend bite into thinking it was his but was mine.3rd visit I order the same thing every time and the 3rd visit they didn't put pickles in my chicken shawarma!I do really like the food and they seem like amazing people but not sure if I'll return anytime soon due to the inconveniences.
