Casa margarita was delicious! The food...not so much. We ordered the queso dip, birria tacos and carne asada tacos. Everything needed salt/more seasoning, very bland.

It’s been roughly 6 years since we ate here last, and I hafta say Miguel hasn’t skipped a beat. My wife and I used to come often for dinner/drinks when we first moved to the area…Miguel’s was our “go-to”.Fast forward 6 years and 3 kids later, we all decided to make a visit and see how things were.We were greeted promptly at the door by a woman who was an absolute pleasure to talk to. She even had some “surprises” for our little guys prior to seating us.We started off with the table side guacamole which was even better than I remembered. I had the shrimp fajitas, my wife had fish tacos and the boys wanted their favorite chicken tenders and fries lol.Our waiter was very accommodating and quick with everything needed.A+ for service, food and atmosphere!FYI-You hafta try the micheladas????

We gave this place a second chance after other not so great visits but alas this was the proverbial nail in the coffin. I went with friends and family (party of 7) 4 children, 3 adults. In short everyone ordered their drinks and meal and things were coming out at a respectable pace with the exception of my meal (Milenesa de Pollo). I waited and watched everyone get their food and eat it while we were preoccupied in conversation. However, after 20+ minutes I got tired of the chips and salsa and attempted to waive a member of the staff down....to no avail. Finally, about 10 minutes later our waitress came back to check on how our food turned out and if we needed a drink refill. I took this opportunity to mention that I have yet to recieve my meal. The waitress went to back and said oh sorry the kitchen never recieved the order as the printer ink ran out. I have to give them credit for such a unique explanation but it did make me question the authenticity of the explanation as there was no shortage of meals for the patrons surrounding our table (everyone else in the restaurant got their food). I decided to just let it go as with 3 kids and friends who had already finished their meals I wasn't in the mood to wait for the meal to be prepared. Alas, we requested the bill which was not only incorrect but also had a pre fix gratuity of 20% which was not only laughable but confusing as I believe industry standard for a pre fix gratuity is parties of 8 or more. No discount for the inconvenience nor apology was provided. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone mainly due to how they handled the issue......crickets.

Beans are gross and so are the chips. Chips are always so hard to eat. Meat is dry. Definitely going anywhere else next time. Fool me once shame on you! Fool me twice shame on me!

They add a hidden gratuity charge to everyone's bill. No one should tell the customers how much to TIP. TIP means: To Insure Promptness, it should be earned, not taken. Never again.

I have a difficult time rating this place. I believe it's one of the few places I have given only 3 stars, and I partially feel guilty, but don't know how else to handle the rating. Most of the food was quite tasty, I particularly enjoyed the spicy potatoes that came with my meal. But other tastes were mediocre. The waitress wasn't mean, or unfriendly, but she wasn't friendly either. She was adequate, but not seemingly trying to be better. And, for a cantina, I didn't feel like it was a cantina. I felt like I was in an open garage, and no one was really thrilled I was there. I felt it could have been so much better with just a window dressing here, the right music there, some cheeriness here, a recipe change here. So much potential, which to me, fell short. I don't want to sorry change the place, because maybe I went on a bad day. We all have those. I will try again in a month or so, and hopefully be more impressed. If not, I dare say if go there after that. I hope to see an improvement. Like I said, so much potential, but so much mediocre disappointment.I'd have a choice of salsa(regular, and spicy). Turn up or enhance the Mexican atmosphere( music and decor), or at least what Americans are used to experiencing in the States . Above all, increase the customer service friendliness, or welcome wagon. Make the customer feel the actually happy they're there. Good luck.
