As a fellow service industry worker this is something I NEVER do but the experience we had last week has been bothering me ever since.. We were visiting Michigan to see family, and they took us to their "favorite spot", Mr. B's, where I was shocked at the way the servers were treated by their own manager! The girl waiting on us (I wish I had the reciept so I could give her name) was so sweet, and clearly struggling but we know how it goes so we're patient. The manager pulled this poor server aside and absolutely reamed her, with personal attacks and a completely unprofessional attitude. That kind of interaction with employees is not only unacceptable in front of customers, it is unacceptable any time! I felt so bad for our server, she tried to keep a brave face but there were clearly tears in her eyes as she cleared plates from our table. I don't know who taught the manager that it's ok to treat employees that way, but it was horrible to witness. I hope that poor server gets a new job and the heck away from that place. Food was decent, beers were meh, but the experience was disturbing. My husband had to steer me out the door as quick as possible before I had words with that awful woman myself. Good luck to anyone trying to make a living there, I hope you know you don't deserve to be treated like trash. Disgusting.

Slides the kids ordered were bland, so was my brothers slop burger, my husband and our friend had the Taco dinners which were also bland they said no seasoning on meat just hamburger. The blooming onion was good but didn't like the spicy sauce that came with it. The cheesy bread was good.

Had my son’s birthday there, I love going to Mr. B’s been going there for years. The service was phenomenal. The waitress was at our table every time you looked around, She was there to bring you what you needed. Our food came out in a timely manner. It was delicious as usual. I enjoy going there because to me it’s like a family atmosphere and very seldom do I walk in there and not see someone I know! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have that family atmosphere and of course good food!!!!

Went with my husband and upon walking in the atmosphere was immediately dark and musty. Food is subpar bordering gross and drinks are overpriced. I would never recommend this place to anybody. It was so bad my husband wants to make his own review to get our point across.

Let’s start with the good. It’s a casual place to meet friends for a decent bar burger. But after not stopping in for a while, I recently came in to realize all my favorite bartenders (Miranda, Katie with the contagious laugh, Lauren) are now gone. What I did find was the long time bartender from Shelby Pub. Ok Shelby Pub was a horrible place with the most horrible service, which is why my friends and I would never go in there. The older blonde bartender would only ever wait on her regulars and flat out ignored us!! This is still the case now that she’s at B’s. I will never step foot back into Mr B’s - or the new Shelby Pub as that’s what it now looks like. Super disappointing!

The older woman behind the bar is extremely slow and does not check up on you. The point of going out is the atmosphere and when your bartender doesn’t even greet you when you sit down it kind of kills the buzz… that I wasn’t able to get… because where’s my drink?
When I go out I go out for service. Otherwise people stay at home right? When I go out id like to enjoy some beverages…not just a single beverage. Being ignored for a refill (multiple times) of a simple cocktail shouldn’t be too much of a hassle. Seems to me the NEWLY hired bartender there doesn’t seem to have customer service in mind. Why is it new staff don’t care to come into a business to be a part of it and think they have to stand out?I hope this changes asap…Mr Bs needs to stay just the way it has been for years now!
