Visited this restaurant late last week, parking lot seemed pretty full but were able to get sat immediately. My family and I were greeted quickly by Erin who was more than happy to accommodate the allergies of the group. The drinks are always to my liking and bread and butter are a must. She recommended the pan fried perch and it beat my expectations. Will be back soon! What a delight she was.

We enjoyed our visit to steakhouse 22. Upon entering the vibe was energetic. Our party of 6 was kindly greeted and we were seated at a circular booth. (I hate these) there wasn't enough room in it so I requested a chair and, after a short argument with the 19 year old hostess, got my request fulfilled. Drinks and apps, salads, soups and entree were perfectly prepared. The cuts on the steaks were too thin in my opinion. Dessert was delicious too. A wonderful gem in North utica, which is not known for fine restaurants. We'll be back

Good atmosphere, great service; bad food experience. Not sure if it was just an off night, but nearly everything about my experience was off on the night I went. The night started off fine, I went out to this place with my wife; we dined in and ordered a steak bites appetizer which was great! We ordered our entrees, and we both chose soup as our side. My wife had asked for French Onion soup after initially saying she wanted a salad; and the server initially brought us a salad instead, which was fine, it happens. When the soup did come it came out extremely peppery; as if the cap fell off a pepper shaker while being seasoned. The wait staff explained “we may have given you the bottom of the soup vessel”; which was baffling to me that a chef would serve the literal bottom of the barrel soup!I ordered a Sazerac cocktail; which I personally didn’t end up liking. They did offer to have me try something different, but I didn’t elect to. I was charged for the drink, which is fair.My wife had ordered her steak very rare, and it came out Medium. We didn’t raise a stink about it since something had gone wrong at every step of our experience thus far, and just wanted to eat and leave; but for a place calling itself a steakhouse the temperature of a steak shouldn’t come off two levels off.My entree, a seafood pasta special, was actually pretty good. The shrimp that came in it still had tails on them, which I found was odd to do in a sauced pasta, but it was fine. Flavor was great.I ordered a dessert; the chocolate lava cake, and it came out overdone. Instead of being a lava cake with a molten center it came out a fully done brownie. Taste was fine, though.Overall; for the price we paid the experience we received was disappointing. Will not be going back anytime soon.

Great local restaurant that keeps me off busy Hall Rd when dining out. I've been here several times. The fillet's consistent everytime we come, highly recommend. They have been here for many years and are experienced in giving you the service you expect.

A neighborhood favorite for many years. Unpretentious, good food, reasonably priced by current standards.

Great service, and food is consistently good. The prices are reasonable. We had a family dinner there after a Confirmation. Everyone chose what they wanted to eat. The bill was reasonable. Service was very good.
