This place has gone steadily downhill during the past year....We've been coming here for years and years, for our private dining experience plus for retirement parties, celebrations and funerals. Always had the best food, service, etc....I understand the ownership has changed and it looks like they want to make it a neighborhood bar with pizza....The amenities, special bread with dipping sauce, the salad bar, even the linen napkins...GONE. We've been here many times lately (once was our go-to place on Wednesday evenings) and they are always OUT of something...No baked potatoes, we're out of potatoes, No Perch dinner..."We're OUT of perch,", etc. etc.... They no longer have a seperate room for get-togethers, most of the table have been removed. It's a sad looking place now....Tonight was our last night to visit there....We're through with the Firehouse Tavern.

Me and my brother stopped in yesterday and ordered BBQ Ribs and they were excellent and our waitress was friendly and gave us great service i would recommend this place to anyone

Terrible service! Bartenders are bitchy!! Food is over cooked! Changes hands to many times. No constantly. And you better remember what you drank or ate, cuz your bill, cuz it will be doubled the next morning!! Thieves and garbage food!!

Server Amber seemed like she would rather be somewhere else. It took multiple attempts to get a receipt and silverware for my to go order. Food was not good, the breading on the perch was thick and tasted like cardboard. Fish and Chips was undercooked and greasy… not a good experience (Lunch at 11 am).

My husband and I tried this place about a year ago and had the absolute BEST ribs of our lives: they literally fell off the bone as you lift them out of the carryout box. Not only did they have those ribs but it came with breadsticks (with the most AMAZING dipping sauce), two side salads and fries. So so so good! The problem is...the last few months this place has been a hit or miss. Sometimes they don't have carryout available, sometimes they forget items and there's never a rhyme or reason. Maybe if we hadent had such high expectations then the disappointment of looking forward to getting ribs after the kids go to bed...only to find out they dont have carryout that night, wouldn't hurt so bad.

Went last night and will not come back. Not the cleanest, acoustics are terrible and food mediocre. We ordered fish & chips and the breading was so thick and filled with grease so pulled off breading to get to the fish. Asked for mustard for my fries and got tiny mustard packs like I was at a deli or a fast food place. My date asked for ketchup and it comes in a little plastic cup. Really who serves ketchup and mustard that way at a restaurant that you have to pay $15.99 for your dinner. I remember when it was a halfway decent place but it is terrible. Our waiter was great so cudos to him.

Went here for 10 years until owners switched. Went back last week for dinner and was so disappointed at how things were changed to cut costs. Their Caesar salads is now iceberg instead of romaine. Food is served in red baskets instead of plates. Ambiance is terrible. Lighting too bright. Not a nice nightlife feel. The server we had made it seem like she was having the worst day of her life. I get it, I work in service. I don't always have perfect days. But that's when ya smile and make the most of your evening and actually pretend to care about your customers. Won't be back soon - food is average & ambiance is just ok. Reminds me of a family diner now.

Used to love the warm bread & garlic spread. It's not half as good lately. The server was pleasant but not good. I'm sad to post a review that's not great, but this is the 2nd time we've had subpar food & service here in the last year.I hope they can turn it around soon.

Unless you live in Macomb County Michigan you won't get this-this place should be in South Warren. This is not a compliment. Passed it by many times and today was the day-Bad Idea. As I am wont to do, I sat at the bar. The bartender was slightly surly, cute as a button so the surliness may come from old perv's hitting on her but surly just the same. As fixated on the shrimp Cajun pasta which was basically very cheesy Mac and Cheese with three pieces of shrimp, some sausage and jalapeños. It did come with a side of cold soup. Also very poor tap, mostly weak American selections. All in all, this is one and done for me.
I had an absolutely wonderful time here. Our waitress was so nice and was super helpful when we had questions about the menu. I ordered the cajun pasta and, since I have a severe shellfish allergy, I asked for no shrimp and she was super kind and accommodating. The pasta was delicious and the side salad and breadsticks were super tasty as well. My family and I will definitely be coming back!!

The family took me to the restaurant for a dinner out, we got there around 5:00pm, sat down and ordered drinks, then we ordered appetizer, half of the appetizer were out of stock, ended up with pretzels balls and dip, then we ordered our meal, the waitress came back and told us they were out of beef, ice cream, other meals on the menu. I had fish and chips, that was the worst meal I have ever had, the fish was in dough the was not done and mushy, very bad meal but I must admit the Fry's were great. I sorry the time we entered the restaurant, everything should have been on or at the restaurant and on the menu. I was very disappointed with the whole thing. Wish the old owners were back, I know I will not be back.

Non-appetizer food was fantastic! Appetizers were lack luster. Alcoholic beverages? Absolutely wonderful. You definitely get your money's worth at the bar. We had a lovely, patient waitress. Bathrooms could definitely have used some attention, less than ideal in terms of cleanliness.

My first time here. Stopped with a friend, had pizza and drinks. When walking to our table, there was this delicious smell of ribs. I don't know the cost because he paid. Have to go back to taste the ribs.
